Life
Life is such a fragile thing,
It begins and ends so easily.
From inside the mother's cramped, tight womb
To rotting in the dank, dark tomb.
And as we age,
Year by year,
We never seem to realize
That with each second,
Death draws more near
It grabs and sucks and yanks and pulls
With rotting and hanging flesh,
People seem to think that their lives
Are sealed in wire mesh.
But as we lay
Upon our deathbeds,
We finally seem to realize,
That death is real,
It will take all,
And life is the most fragile thing of all.
