        We all made it back to the castle, I turned and looked at Bellamy and Vincent. I thought things were great with them but now I see it looks like things got worse. I thought I saw them holding hands and laughing but I guess my eyes deceived me. They looked uncomfortable, well Vincent did, then all of a sudden I saw another guy with Bellamy? I had no idea who that is but he was making Bellamy smile and that is all that matters. We all said goodnight and walked to our rooms. Jedidiah and I stood in front of my door and just smiled at each other. "I had fun tonight with you," I told him messing with his shirt. "Next date is just me and you though." He smiled at me and pulled me into a hug. "Goodnight beautiful." I looked up at him and smiled and he leaned down and gave me a soft kiss. The electricity soared through my body and I pulled away and smiled at him. "Goodnight." I walked into my room and closed the door. I changed into my pj's and laid down in my bed. I kept tossing and turning and couldn't seem to get any sleep. I looked at my phone and saw that it was 1 in the morning. Why can't I sleep?

Hey Hetty, can you tell me why I can't sleep?

I was just about to, you need to go to sleep with Jedidiah. You can't be away from your mate for too long now. The connection and bond are too strong. 

So what do I just walk in there?

Yeah, he is your mate. Trust me, he isn't asleep either.

     I decided to take her advice and go to his room. I got up out of bed and closed my bedroom door behind me and stood in front of his door. I opened it slowly and walked in he was already sitting on the bed running his hands through his hair, he looked up at me and smiled. I closed the door and walked towards his bed. "I was about to go in there and get you but I didn't know if--" I cut him off by getting in the bed and snuggling in next to him. He wrapped his arm around me and laid back down. His scent was overwhelming and overtaking my entire body it was amazing and soothing. "I'm glad you decided to come and lay with me." Jedidiah hummed and all of a sudden I felt sleep come over me. I felt him lay one last kiss on my forehead and I finally went to sleep.

       I woke up with the sun streaming on my face. I rolled over onto a very hard and chiseled chest. I ran my hand up and down his chest and started to trace his abs. I liked him without his shirt on. I looked up at his face and was relaxed and soft, he seemed so carefree. His eyes started to flutter open and immediately met mine. He gave me a lazy smile and kissed my forehead. "Morning beautiful." His voice was deeper and raspier than normal, it made Hetty purr in my head. "Morning." He tried to lean in for a kiss but I moved away. "Morning breath." I got up from the bed and walked to his bathroom. I found a spare toothbrush and brushed my teeth. I was my face and walked back out. Jedidiah was sitting at the edge of the bed looking through his phone. "Brunch? Let me take you out." I looked at the clock and it was 10:30. I looked up at him and smiled. "Yes, I would love to. Where did you want to go?" I asked him. "Well, there is this place on the other side of town, called Mrs.P's. I know it is far but it seems cute." He said. "Yeah, of course." I went and stood in between his legs and he put his hands on my thighs rubbing them up and down.

        "You have your first day of school tomorrow, are you nervous?" He pulled me into his lap and I leaned into him. "Not really, I have Bellamy and Kailani that are going to be there with me, and don't forget about River." I was happy that he was so concerned. I understand where his fear was coming from, he didn't want to be away from me for too long. Seeing as we were gone from each other for months at a time, it really put a hindrance on our relationship. Just as he was about to respond he got a call on his phone. "Alpha Damon." Why was my dad calling him? What does he need? I got up off of his lap and walked to the other side of the bed and laid back down. "I understand. I will be there in 20 minutes." He hung up the phone and sighed and looked at me. "I'm sorry love, duty calls. Your dad needs me for some last-minute training." He got up and walked to the bathroom. "Well, that just means he likes you." He started to strip his clothes and I started to blush and closed my eyes. I heard him laugh at me, but he made no move to close the door. "What do you mean?" He started the shower and got in. "He is giving you responsibility, he must trust you. You might be on your way to head warrior." I put my arm down once I knew it was safe to look. 

        "And that also means you make great money. And I love me a rich man." I said jokingly. He stuck his head out of the shower and smirked at me. He stopped the shower and grabbed a towel that was hanging on the door and wrapped it around his waist. His chest was on full display and water was dripping down his body. I loved his tattoos, his arms, his chest, his back, his abs, his everything. I didn't realize how long I was staring until I looked back at his face and he was smirking at me. "You like what you see beautiful?" He asked me. I don't know what came over me but I nodded and licked my lips. What the heck is happening? Jedidiah growled and clenched his fists and his eyes flashed to black. He started walking toward me and it looked like he was about to pounce, until there was a knock on the door. Jedidiah groaned and I could tell he was frustrated, I was too. I just wanted to be intimate with my mate without there being any interruptions.

      He walked over to the door and opened it. "What!?" He yelled at the person. I saw it was Margaret, she used to make my cloaks. I sat up and walked to the door with Jedidiah, she looked scared after being yelled at by him. "Margaret? Hi. I'm sorry for Jedidiah, he is just cranky in the mornings. It's been so long, to what do I owe the visit?" I asked her. "It's okay Princess. I just was wondering how you were, but I can see you are doing just fine." She gave me a sweet smile and looked at Jedidiah. "That is very sweet, Margaret. Yes, life has been great." 

Be careful.

What? Hetty, what are you talking about?

Margaret. She is bad news.

       "That's unfortunate, it looks like I am gonna have to change that." I was confused about what she meant by that. Then all of a sudden she pounced on me and wrapped her hands around my neck. Jedidiah, still in a towel, grabbed her and pinned her against the wall. And was growling at her. I got up off the floor and thankfully my dad was walking to his room and heard the commotion. "What is going on?" My dad yelled as he ran into the room. "She tried to attack me!" My dad grabbed her and mind linked Robert and Trey I assume because they were in the room after a few minutes he was in there. "Alpha Damon, you remember, don't you! When she was born she turned the nurse rogue, my daughter! She ruined my life! Just deserves to die for what she did!" She was scratching at Robert and Trey trying to get loose. I was in shock, I had no idea I did that. They took her out of the room and it was Jedidiah, my dad and I left in the room. "Did I really turn her daughter rogue?" I asked him. He just looked at me, and that's how I know it was true. 

      "We had no idea how the curse was going to affect you. Just know it wasn't your fault, no one could have known." He came over and gave me a hug and a kiss on my forehead. "Do you believe me?" He asked and I just nodded. He looked over at Jedidiah who, again, was still shirtless. "Jedidiah get some clothes on. I'll see you in 10 minutes." My dad glared at him and walked out of the room. I closed the door behind him and started laughing, I saw Jedidiah blush, awe he was embarrassed how cute. "I mean, you don't have to get dressed," I said shrugging my shoulders and chuckling a bit, trying to make light of the situation. He just rolled his eyes at me and walked to the closet. "You would be the one that would make jokes right after you get choked out." He came back out with clothes on, sadly. "I'm getting used to it now I guess. You should teach me self-defense." I suggested. "Yes, next weekend I will train you. And I will not be easy on you." He closed the gap between us. "Good, I don't want you to be." I was hoping he caught my hidden innuendo. "Don't love, I need to go. I am already in trouble with your dad for being naked in front of you." He laughed lightly. "One day love, I will tear you to pieces. But not today." He gave me a kiss on my head and walked out of the room, leaving me hot and bothered.

Did he really just?

Yes Hetty, he did.

What a jerk.
