"POOL PARTY!"

Both Garroth and KC said in unison as they cannonballed in the pool. Aphmau was doing a New Year's Eve party, as usual, everyone's here.

I went to get a drink by the cooler standing beside Lucinda, just by looking at her you can realize she doesn't wanna get wet yet. "So.... How's the dating life been treating ya?" she suddenly said. "It's great, actually, better then I expected. " she looked at me with a questioning look, "What? Just because I'm dating a pervert doesn't mean I'm not having a bit of fun with the pervert.... " My eyes wided as I realized what I said and blushed a lot. Lucinda saw me and chuckled sipping her drink. Aphmau cam up to us with red white and blue glasses with a hat that said 20XX, she also had sparklers in her hand waving them around. "What're you guys talking about?"

"Just him and Travis going out with each other, nothing biggy. " Lucinda said she put a arm around me joking around, Aph laughed looking around she signed and hugged me. "I'm glad your happier. You should be with having your life hehe. " I looked at her confused. "And what wrong with my life?"
Aphmau let go of me putting her hands on her hips. "Zane... I can list 5 things that changed you into who you are now. " Lucinda laughed, "I can name 7 if you add highschool or your childhood. " I turned my head away looking the other way ignoring the girls.

Sometime passed now in the middle of the afternoon. I was inside the house watching TV, Kaitlyn beside me and Travis behind the couch sitting on a stool with his hands on my shoulders. "So are you guys in the honeymoon phase yet? Or did it pass? " Travis and I looked at each other, we shook our heads. "Huh, guess it'll come in a few weeks then... "

What did she mean by that?

I quickly grabbed my phone from my pocket looking up 'The Honeymoon Phase'.

The honeymoon stage that magical time when your partner is still perfect and you are very much in love. This period features high levels of passionate love, characterized by intense feelings of attraction and ecstasy, as well as an idealization of one's partner.

Ugh, I remember the time Aaron and Aphmau got married... They were in this stage for too long. In fact, they still are.

Travis quickly grabbed my phone and ran upstairs. "TRAVIS GIVE ME BACK MY PHONE!" I screamed running upstairs to Aphmau and Aaron's room. I scanned the room hearing a giggle beside all of Aphmau's plushies and toys. The giggling stopped as I look towards where Travis actually was, "Well I guess I have to go find some other guy to slap my butt and flirt with me every chance he gets to. " I said sadly trying to roam Travis out, the plushies and toy pile started to move and Travis came out running to me knocking me down with a hug.

"Don't go with some other guy! I know Aaron is muscular and probably your type but, you can't be with him! HE'S MARRIED FOR IRENE'S SAKE!"

Travis screamed at the top of him lungs pinning me down. I laughed at Travis's face, his face was red like if he was about to explode from embarrassment or anger. "Hah, You really think I would go out with Aaron? I'm bisexual not a crazy girl. " I said staring deeply into Travis's emerald eyes. "And what's wrong with a crazy girl?" Aphmau stood at the door holding a trash bag, she quickly took a few photos of us and ran downstair sending the pictures to everyone in out friends group. "Are we gonna do anything about that?" we looked at each other and shook our heads no. Our phones buzzed and Travis chuckled as he still had my phone. "Did you see the photo?" he shook his head laughed more. "What are you laughing for?" I question, as he sat up leaning on the bed beside us.

"Were you so caught on to Kaitlyn's question that you look up 'the honeymoon phase'?" I jolted sitting beside him he look at my recent history... I grabbed my phone from him. "I-I was curious! .... And we aren't really like that... " I put my head down looking at my hands in embarrassment, Travis had pulled my mask down and kissed me. "We... could be like that?" he said trying to be smug, he held my hand.

Travis started praising me for what I did and look, I started laughing. He wrap or his arm around me giving me a very tight hug still praising me. "Okay okay, come on I'm hungry and it's gonna make it worse staying here you. " I smiled and he smile back, we both sat up and went down stairs seeing no one inside the house. Everyone was outside trying to help put some of the small fireworks up. Travis and I walked outside he went up to help with the small fireworks and I went to get a burger from the grill. Aaron came up to me looking smug as ever, also getting a burger. "What with that look?" I said to him pulling my mask down to eat, he shook his head. "Just wondering if, uh, you and Travis did it in our bedroom... Nothing much. " I squinted my eyes at him furiously, of course he saw the photos. "Look Travis had my phone, I knew where he was hiding and I said 'well I guess I have to go find some other guy' then he jumped out pinning me down and giving me a hug. "

Aaron looked assured nodding, I took another bite of my burger trying to ignore the silent between us. "And he probably said 'Don't go with some other guy! I know Aaron is muscular and probably your type but, you can't be with him! HE'S MARRIED FOR IRENE'S SAKE!" Aaron laughed putting his plate away, he stared at me with serious eyes like if he were going to do something. "Well, do you like guys like me?" he started flexing his muscles and doing weird poses. Aphmau came up to us and chuckled at Aaron. "Hey guys, we're debating which firework we should light us first, the illegal ones or the ones that were on sale?"

Wait is she serious?

"You guys have illegal fireworks!?" I wiped my face and put my plate away. "Of course we don't I'm joking, but Flince helped Lucinda put a little spin on them." I looked over at the fire works seeing a red white and blue one, a red orange and yellow box with small individual fireworks, and a purple pink fireworks stood up to be shot in the air. "How about the red orange and yellow, that's seems fun. "

I guess they heard me because there were loud bangs and bright lights. My eyes were blurred I thought there were gunshots by how big that loud noise was. I collapsed on my knees and put my head down.

Am I safe here?
