A/N: I know this us late, I was taking a holiday break, but now I'm back so...
Peter woke up with Mj still in his arms, to the sound of foot steps. It must have been early, as there was no sunlight shining through his window shades.
Peter maneuvered his way out of bed, without waking Mj, he walked out to the kitchen.
The clock in the kitchen read 5:32AM, that explains why it's so dark.
Peter looked towards the Christmas tree & noticed the presents underneath were wrapped in red & gold wrapping paper.
He continued to look around the apartment, he entered the living room & noticed the cold temperature of the room, it sent a chill up his spine. He looked over to the window, it was left up.
Normally Peter would worry about a break in, but this window didnt have a fire escape, so no one could get in that way. Peter closed & locked the window & started to make his way back to his room, but he noticed something.
The door was left unlocked too, which was strange because Peter remembers locking the door himself. Now he was set uneasy.
Peter quietly made his way to the kitchen, then May's room. She was gone.
Peter heard the sound of keys jingle in the door knob, he quickly made his way to the corner of the kitchen & peered into the living room.
May quietly pushed open the door with her foot & stepped into the apartment, she had boxes in her hand.
"God May, are you trying to give me a heart attack", Peter asked coming around the corner. May slightly jumped.
"Likewise", May said as she sat the boxes down on the coffee table in the living room. "What are you doing up at; 5:38 AM"?
"I heard you, what are you doing up this early", Peter whispered?
"I had to get the gifts that were supposed to arrive last night, but arrived this morning", May said.
"Oh", Peter said. "You realize you left the door unlocked, right"?
"Yeah, I'm glad I took my keys with me", May said as she stuck her keys back into her jacket pocket.
"You left the window open too, it's freezing in h . . .", Peter started.
"I didnt open the window", May said.
"I'm sorry".
May & Peter turned there heads to the dark corner of the room.
Eddie stepped out, "That was us". Eddie's voice deepened when he said "us".
"Eddie, how'd you get in here", Peter asked stepping infront of May?
"You're not the only one who can climb, Spiderman", Eddie said.
"Did you tell him", May whispered in Peter's ear. Peter shook his head no.
"My friend told me", Eddie said, a snake like thing emerged from behind Eddie's back. "May, I'd like you to meet Venom".
"Eddie, I need you to step away from that thing, it could kill you", Peter said.
"That's not it, we're kind of . . .together", Eddie said. Eddie flung his arm forward, black goo came from his hand & wrapped around Peter. Eddie whipped his arm back & Peter went flying through the wall, into the neighbor's apartment.
Eddie looked back at May before turning into the Venom & going through the hole in the wall, going after Peter.
May ran to Peter's room, woke Mj, & started to run.
