"Guys.."

They all looked at me.

"I think I lost my phone."

"WHAT!?" They all said in chorus.

I was startled by their reaction. "I can't find it in my bag! I am sure I put it here but it's not here." I defensively replied.

"OMG, Franki. I already told you to check everything before we left. Your phone's not going to magically disappear in your bag, for pete's sake!" Maza exclaimed while she facepalmed.

"I'm sorry, okay? Just l-let me find my phone." I was already on the verge of panicking. I can't lose my phone. All my contacts are there, even my... my.... Oh no! I have to find it.

"Okay. Everyone, calm down. I will call your phone. Maybe it fell somewhere or something." Jodi suggested.

She started calling my number and put it on speaker when it rang. We were in silence while waiting for someone to pick up the call.We tried it several times but no one was answering the call. I was starting to get frustrated at what's happening.

'Damn it, Franki! Why do you have to be so fucking stupid!?'

"I think we should stop calling her phone or else the battery might die. Just text it for now. Provide another contact information. We'll see from there." Paulo suggested this time.

"Don't worry, Franki. We'll help you out, okay?" Jodi tried to calm me down.

I sat in silence and just hoped that I will get my phone back.

Diana's POV.

I arrived at my studio and once I was in, I laid on the couch. Today is already a very tiring day. I scheduled to meet talents today to check their portfolio for one of my projects and I don't feel like doing it. Gusto ko sana icancel na lang yung meet up but I can't. I have to move forward with this project and I always want to have a good look at my subject a day or two before I take shots. It helps me imagine how the shots would look like. I can be a little perfectionist. I guess I got it from my mom who was always so meticulous of doing things.

I was about to doze off when I remembered the woman's phone in my pocket. When I opened it, I saw a bunch of missed calls and a text message.

Hey! If someone has this phone, please contact us. It's my friend's phone and she really needs it. If you need money, we can give you some. Just give the phone back. Here's my contact number 09xxxxxxxx.

I frowned. Well, I don't need money. It was never an issue to me. In fact, our family owns "The Mackey Group of Companies" and I am the director of marketing. My brother, Brian, runs the whole business but I handle all the photo and video campaigns for now. Kuya entrusted me with it since my expertise is in photography.

I am even handling all photoshoots for the Binibining Pilipinas candidates in the past 3 years. That's where I met Veronica. I shook my head at the thought of her.

I returned my attention to the phone because I don't want to remember things that involves my ex.
I called the number from the text message using my phone and waited for someone to answer.

After a couple of rings, someone picked up.

"Hello?" It was a girl that answered.

"Hi, I have your friend's phone and no I don't need money."

"Wow! That's great news. Our friend here is about to lose her freaking mind because of her phone." She lightly laughed.

Suddenly, it felt like someone snatched the phone away from the girl I was talking to.
