FRANKI'S POV

Damn that cockroach! It's early in the morning for Pete's sake. Good thing Maza got rid of it already. I covered my face with my hands out of exhaustion.

I slept late last night. I think I only slept for 3 hours? I couldn't get my mind off of everything that's happened. I am relieved that I didn't have another nightmare. My mind is just too tired to even have one.

"Franki!" I heard Jodi call me. I turned my attention to her.

"Your girlfriend here is super worried about you so stop screaming because of a goddamn insect!" She added.

Girlfriend?

My eyes widened. I have not fully absorbed the fact that Diana and I are pretending to date now so it still shocks me. I guess I have to get used to it.

She heard me scream because of a tiny cockroach!? I felt my cheeks burn out of embarrassment. I was about to run back to my room when Maza held my wrist.

"Don't you dare go to your room and sleep again, Franki." -Maza

I tried to snatch my hand away from her but she was just too strong for me. She pulled me until we reached the dining table and forced me to sit on one of the chairs.

I childishly folded my arms on my chest and pouted. "I'm not a baby, Maza. I should have the right to do whatever I want instead of being bossed around." I whined.

"For sure, you're not." She sarcastically replied while motioning her hands to me.

"Stop arguing, girls. I have good news!" Jodi intervened. We both looked at her in anticipation. She walked towards our direction and sat on one of the chairs beside me with her laptop placed on the table.

"So... I have the itinerary for the upcoming projects we have with Guess. Our first stop would be in Batangas." She cheerfully said.

My eyebrows furrowed. "Where is that?" I asked. "It's a province in the South. The location would be in Taal Volcano. It's one of the well known tourist spots here in the country." She explained. Jodi showed us some pictures of the place and it really looks nice and refreshing.

"We'll leave a day after so we have to go shopping!" She suggested. I glanced at Maza who was brightly smiling.

She clapped her hands in excitement. "Yes, we should! But when?" She asked Jodi. "Maybe later. My schedule is pretty free today but we'll have to commute because my car broke last night and it's in the repair shop." Jodi uttered. There was a short silence after.

"Or maybe we shouldn't." Maza suggested. "What do you mean we shouldn't?" I asked her in confusion.

"Maybe... you can call your boo to come with us then she'll drive." Maza suggest with a jolly tone.

"Boo? Who- What? No!" I exclaimed almost squealing.

"Yes!" -Maza replied trying to hold her laughter.

"Jodi, help me out here." I turned my attention to Jodi. She put her index finger on her chin, a sign that she was thinking, then looked at me. "You know what, Maza's right. We have to get to know her. I mean if you're serious about your relationship then we have to make sure you're safe with her, if you know what I mean." She sounded really genuine when she said that.

"Plus, she abruptly hung up on me earlier so she should make up for that." She added while chuckling. I sighed in defeat. I might mess things up if I still disagree and they might notice I'm lying.
