chapter 8

NIKOLAI POV

I woke up when I felt a warm and small hand on my cheek I looked over at my son who was staring down at me with a sad face. "Dada" Lorenzo said and I sat up.

"What's wrong son?" I asked and he sat on my lap and laid his head on my chest. "Aren't you tired why you awake so early" I said then looked over at the time it was 7:35 in the morning. I looked over at Serena and she was still asleep. Logan was snuggled into her and she had her arms wrapped around him.

"Are you hungry" I asked and he looked up at me and nodded. I stood up with him in my arms then left the room and walked down the stairs. I went into the kitchen and took up a snack for Lorenzo.

"Here you go lorenzo" I said as I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. I opened it and he told me thank you. I turned on the tv and let him watch baby bus.

"Dada here" he said while offering me some of his snack. I took a bite and he laughed then turned his attention back to the tv. I heard heels clicking on the floor and I was a little confused, I looked up and I saw the girl from yesterday.

"Good morning Mr Esposito" she said while playing with her fingers.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her and she gave me a confused look.

"I got a call from.... um sir Matteo" she said and I sighed, I never told Matteo to give her a call, anyways I was gonna call her.

"Well okay since your here I'll just introduce you to the kids and give you a tour of our house" I said then stood up, I turned the tv off and Lorenzo started whining.

"Hey stop" I warned and he pouted "this is my son Lorenzo he has a twin and that's Logan but he's asleep."

"Hi Lorenzo" she said while touching his hand. He pulled his hand way and gave her an angry pout.

"I don't know what's wrong with him maybe it's because I turned the tv off" I said and she chuckled. I showed her the different rooms in the house and where she'll be staying.

"Dada I want to go see mama" he said while wiggling out of my hold and he ran down the hall.

"Oh and this is Aurora's nursery" I said as we walked in. I walked over to Aurora's crib and she was wide awake while sucking on her pacifier. "Hey princess" I cooed and she looked up then started pumping her legs. I picked her up then gave her a kiss on her cheek.

"She's very cute sir" Rose said while playing with her hand. I walked over to her changing table and laid her down.

"Change her" I said and she nodded then walked into the bathroom, washed her hand then came out and started unbuttoning her onesie. After she was finished I picked Aurora up. There was one thing left for me tell her. I left the nursery and walked down the hall to my room.

"You see this room, it's my room and you would never enter unless I say or my wife said so. Always knock before you enter also. If I ever catch you in my room without my permission your dead. That goes for my office too" I said and she gulped. I knock on the seeking permission to come in.

"Come" I heard Serena say and I opened the door and walked in. "Good morning" she whispered then pecked my lip. She kissed Aurora and she smiled then laid her head on my chest.

"Good morning Mrs Esposito" Rose smiled and Serena waved at her.

"Mama" Logan called as he walked over to her and held on to her hand.

"Logan what's wrong baby, mommy can't hold you, I'm busy" Serena said and he started whining.

"Go with rose she's going to play with you" Serena whispered and he started crying.

"No I don't wanna go" he cried and Serena sighed. I sat down on the bed then laid Aurora down. Lorenzo ran over to rose and she smiled.

SERENA POV

Logan was clinging on to me and everywhere I went he followed me. Nikolai came in with rose behind. I think she's a sweet girl and maybe she'll do good in this job.

Rose took the kids with her to make something for them to eat. Logan didn't want to go but he was hungry so he went. Nikolai sat on the bed staring at me, I walked over to him and placed my hand in his.

"Did you do a background check on her?" I asked and he nodded.

"She's clean no criminal records, drugs, no nothing" he said and I nodded then smiled.

"Well then I'm going to get to work I have some serious business to take care of" he said in his deep voice and I eyed him suspiciously.

"I hope your not talking about killing someone" I said and he shrugged then stood up.

"Bellissima it's my job to kill bad and evil people who lie and tries to hurt my family" he smirked and I rolled my eyes. "Don't you dare roll your eyes at me, I'll fuck you and make them roll to the back of your head" he said then slapped my ass. I bit my lip then placed my hands on his jeans.

"Fine" I said as I massaged him through the jeans, he groaned and I lift removed my hand and took a step back.

"I'll deal with you later" he said then stood up and left. I walked into the bathroom then combed my hair up into a pony tail. I left the room and walked down the stairs and into the living room where the kids sat down while eating.

"Nehhhh" Aurora I looked over at Rose and she was bouncing her but she wouldn't quiet down. I took her from Rose and walked over to the couch then sat down.

"It okay baby I know your hungry" I cooed then lift my shirt up. Brushed my nipple against her lip and she accepted it. I grabbed the towel and placed it over her face. Rose sat down then looked over at me.

"She's very sweet baby" Rose said and I smiled then nodded "you guys make really cut kids too."

"Thanks, but sometimes they can be a hand full but I will always love them. Aurora was finished and I placed her on my shoulder and burped her.

"Mama" Logan said then walked over to me. He climbed on top of me then laid his head on my chest.

"Logan what did you dream about baby?" I asked and he looked up at me.

"Mama go bye bye" he said and knitted my eyebrow together in confusion.

"You dreamt that mommy left?" I asked and he nodded.

"Don't come back and I cwied" he said.

"I would never leave you baby, mommy loves you that was only just a dream, they aren't real because mommy is right here" I said and he nodded then smiled. I kissed his forehead then placed Aurora in her bassinet.

"Ok mama" he said then sat back down on the couch.
