The crowd cheered as as the time ran out and the Barden High girls volleyball team won it's first match of the tournament. Stacie who had been substituted awhile ago went to hug Emily. The girls went to change in their locker room and celebrate their first win.
"Great game girls and I am proud of the way you played out there." Miss Downey congratulated.
"Emily and Alexia can you see me outside once you're done changing please." The two girls nodded and got changed quickly to go talk to their coach. They came back and Stacie and Emily decided to walk home together.
"You played really well today Hunter." Emily smiled.
"Maybe not as well as you but thanks. Hey how about we go get some lunch to celebrate?" Stacie offered.
"That would be awesome." They walked into a burger restaurant, ordered their food and sat down at a table.
"So, what did coach want?" Stacie asked as they sat next to each other.
"Nothing much, she just wanted to tell us that we will also be playing for the mixed volleyball team." Emily shrugged.
"That is not nothing. In fact it deserves a reward." Stacie said before placing a soft kiss on Emily's lips. They pulled apart when their food was placed in front of them. They ate their food in silence and they started talking when they were done.
"Hey Stace?"
"Yeah Em?"
"Can I have another reward?" Emily asked with a goofy grin. Stacie smiled at her then leaned in for another kiss. Emily felt like she was on cloud nine and the rest of the world no longer existed. They pulled away with smiles and a bit out of breath.
Stacie brought Emily closer to her and whispered. "Would you like to go out with me on Friday." Emily smiled and nodded. Stacie brought her in for yet another soft and passionate kiss.
They walked out the restaurant and Stacie walked Emily to her house and kissed her goodbye. Emily opened the door to see her whole family waiting at the door with creepy smiles.
"So how was your game?" her dad asked.
"Great?" Emily answered more as a question.
"Alexia said you won and left with a girl named Stacie to celebrate." her mom walked closer to her.
"Yes, I did and you're creeping me out right now. Why are you and dad being so weird?"
"They want to see who can get you to tell them about your date with Stacie first." Beca explained and Emily did a small O with her lips. "We all know that Em is going to tell me first." Beca said with a smile.
"You wish hobbit. She'll tell me first." Jesse declared giving Beca a little push.
"Do that again. I dare you."
She pushed Beca again and she landed on her butt. "You oaf!!" Beca yelled as she pulled Jesse to the ground and started fighting.
Their parents tried to pull them apart but they fell and started arguing. "Bryce I said that I'll pick Beca and you pick Jesse up. Not we both pick Beca up!!"
"No, you said I should pick Beca up and you'll pick Jesse up!" Bryce fought back.
"Now why would I say that?!"
"You tell me." Bryce said and then the two began to laugh which caused Emily to raise an eyebrow.
"Are you two drunk?"
"No." Sofia smiled.
"Oouu but we should be. The pretty unicorn next to Em says we should get drunk." Beca smiled then laughed.
"Is everyone in this house drunk?!" Emily asked with a bit of concern.
"We are not drunk sweetie. All we drank was juice and water all day. Did you always have that duck on your shoulder?" Bryce asked.
Emily looked at her dad confused then something on the coffee table caught her attention. A bunch of home made brownies were on a tray and by the looks of it each family member ate close to six. That's when Emily figured that Jesse made weed brownies and her mom served them by mistake.
Emily looked at her family on the floor and heard Beca talking to her hands. "My fingers are sausages." Emily face palmed then Beca continued.
"Don't worry I promise I won't each you as long as you don't have ketchup on you." Beca smiled then Jesse ran to the kitchen and got a bottle of ketchup and smeared it on Beca's fingers. "Now I shall eat you."
"Noooo!!!Don't eat Steve I like him!!!" Bryce yelled as he pushed Beca and yelled. "Run Steve run!!" Just as Emily was about to pick her dad up her phone got a text alert then she heard her mom yell, "I've been shot man down, man down abandon ship mateys!!"
"Beca!!! Your unicorn keeps flirting with me!! Tell it I already like Aubrey!!" Jesse yelled.
"Bad unicorn. I thought you were married to Emily's duck." Beca yelled.
Bryce got off the floor and sat in front of a fish tank. "Honey SpongeBob is on!!" Sofia was now holding Emily's hamster's cage, "I'm watching pikachu run on the little wheel! Go pikachu go!!" Emily once again faced palmed when Beca yelled from the top of the table, "You tell him girl. That's what you get for cheating on your duck, Mr unicorn!!"
Emily was so busy trying to get Beca off the table that she didn't see the other three sneaking more brownies and a few shots of vodka. She called the only person she knew could help her and a few minutes later the doorbell rang. "That's my jam right there." Jesse started dancing.
Emily went to open the door. "Eiffel, thank goodness you're here. Help me please." Emily desperately asked the older girl. Alexia laughed and walked in to see Beca ballroom dancing with.....a banana?
"I see why you called me. Okay I can make them something to get the off their high but I can't do anything about their morning headaches" Alexia explained.
"I don't care just get my normal dysfunctional family back." Alexia nodded then made her home remedy in Emily's kitchen. Then made the Mitchells drink it. "Okay now all we have to do is wait for it to kick in and they'll be fine tomorrow morning."
"Cool. Wanna stay over for the night? I could use the help." Emily offered and Alexia nodded.
Emily's family was high for one more hour and although Emily and Alexia knew it was evil they took lots of pictures and a video.
