Alexia and Emily were walking in the school halls after school since they had detention for a science project that blew up.

"So, you ready to take on the responsibility?" Alexia asked as she looked at Emily.

"What responsibility?"

"You know. You'll be captain soon. The school year's almost over Em. Two more months and I'm out of here. Meaning it's your turn to lead." Alexia explained.

"I completely forgot that the year is almost over. You're leaving and so is Stacie." Emily frowned.

"Hey, you still have two months and all of summer with her. Don't be upset." Alexia smiled and Emily smiled back at her.

"I do have the whole summer unless one of us leaves for vacation or she has to go to school early or-"

"Or you could quit stressing and cross that bridge when you get to it?" Alexia said interrupting the younger girl.

Emily smiled and nodded as the two girls left the school to go back to their homes.

The next day at school everyone was out on the football field since the auditorium was being cleared out for some reason. The students were sitting in the stands and the teachers were in front of them.

"Okay, I get that you kids might be wondering why we aren't using the auditorium for today's morning assembly. That's simply because the auditorium is being cleaned out for us to use in a month for a special award ceremony." Bryce said to his students.

Tom raised his hand and asked what the ceremony was for and Bryce said it was a surprise. The kids went back inside for class and everything, like always, was boring as hell.

Lunch came around and Amy was for some reason happy. "I'm graduating high school in two months pitches!!!!" Beca smiled at her friend and shook her head.

Stacie also smiled but it started to fade when she saw the sad look on Emily's face. She put her hand on Emily's shoulder somewhat silently asking her what was wrong but Emily just smiled sadly and shrugged. Beca also noticed Emily so she signaled Stacie to take Emily outside.

"Hey Em, can we go outside for a sec?" Stacie asked her still upset girlfriend who simply nodded and got up from the table then walked outside with Stacie behind her.

"What's wrong? You've been acting weird all day." Stacie said looking at Emily.

"I'm fine." Emily said obviously lying.

"Nice try but we both know you can't lie to me so save us both the trouble and just tell me what's wrong." Stacie said folding her arms.

"I'm just scared of losing you. You'll be gone soon and what if you find someone else and you leave me all alone and I-" Emily's rambling was cut off by Stacie's lips on hers.

Stacie pulled away and smiled at Emily. "You're not gonna lose me babe. I love you and only you, it doesn't mater how many people I meet. Just because I'm going to college soon won't change that. Okay?"

"Okay." Emily nodded and smiled.

"Good now come here." Stacie smiled as she pulled Emily closer to her. They looked into each other's eyes, leaned in and shared a soft and passionate kiss.

"Let's go." Emily said walking away but Stacie pulled her back and shook her head no. Emily smiled at her confused.

"No more school for today. Why don't we go have some fun?"

"You want me to cut school?" Emily asked wide eyed.

"No, I want to cut school and I'm asking you to join me. There's a difference. So what do you say?" Stacie asked a bit nervous as to what Emily would say.

"I say let's go!" Emily yelled and they walked back to the group, got their bags and snuck out of the school. They got to Stacie's car and she drove them to an ice cream shop.

"Why an ice cream shop?" Emily asked when they walked through the door.

"Relax Legacy we're not here for ice cream. We actually came here to get something from the owner. He's my mom's friend and I have to pick something up from him." Stacie smiled.

"When you asked me to cut school with you I didn't realize that you planned on making me run errands with you." Emily folded her arms.

"Just wait here and I'll be right back okay?" Emily nodded and Stacie gave her kiss on the cheek then went into what Emily assumed was the owner's office.

While waiting for Stacie to come out, a blonde girl about Emily's age wearing a black and white tank top with blue skinny jeans and red vans walked up to her. She was a bit shorter and Emily had to admit that she was really beautiful.

"Hi, are you with Stacie?" The girl smiled.

"Yes I am. My name's Emily. Are you a friend of Stacie's?" Emily smiled at the girl. She was about to answer Emily when Stacie showed up and interrupted her.

"Okay, we can go now babe." Stacie said not noticing the girl at first but when she noticed her she suddenly frowned and glared at her.

"Like what you see miss Conrad?" She smirked looking Stacie in the eye.

"Get over yourself Amethyst. Let's go Em." Stacie said grabbing Emily's hand but Amethyst blocked her path.

"Okay so now you're pretending like I don't exist? Really Conrad I don't get why you always resist me cause we both know that this ends with you crawling back to me." Amethyst smirked making Stacie glare and Emily looked between them confused.

"Why do you look so confused sweetie? Let me explain what's happening so make sure you listen closely." Amethyst smiled at Emily.

"Miss Conrad over here is my girlfriend. She has been since we were 14, she always acts like she doesn't want me anymore but she always crawls right back." At this point Stacie was fuming.

"I am not your fucking girlfriend. I haven't been since we were 15!! Now get out of our way before I lose my temper." Amethyst moved closer to Stacie and gave her a peck on her lips. She walked away leaving the two alone.

"What the hell was that?!" Emily yelled.

"That was the devil AKA Amethyst Ranger, my ex-girlfriend. The one person I wish I never knew." Stacie sighed. "She is not someone you'd want to piss off, trust me."

"Explain. Now." Emily demanded.

"I knew this would happen eventually I just didn't think it would be so soon." Stacie said scratching the back of her head. "Well let's go to the car and I'll explain everything once we are as far as possible from that witch." Stacie said and they walked out the door to the car. Stacie drove them to their spot and started explaining.
