"You're really taking me on tour?!"

Selah couldn't contain her excitement, her mother let her go because Selah lied. She told her mother it was a school trip.

"Hell yeah, I love traveling," Ason picked her up, spinning her around.

"Me too," Selah smiled, not knowing a pair of eyes and ears were listening.

"Where are you going, sis?" Unique propped up against the door, eavesdropping. Selah turned around, thinking of a quick comeback to tell her sister. Ason stared at Unique, he never realized how different they looked.

"School trip to North Carolina, it's so we can see historical places and prepare for black history month," Selah smiled although she wanted to mean mug her sister and tell her to get out.

Unique made a hand movement, indicating that she knew Selah was lying, she just wanted some money.

"Give me $20 and I won't tell that you' leavin' with this man," Unique ordered, popping her gum. Selah rolled her eyes, digging into her pocket for 20 $1 bills.

"Thanks for doing business with me"

"I change my mind," Selah sat in front of her mom, currently unpacking her things. Her mom had a sudden change of heart, it threw everyone off, especially Selah.

"Ma-Ma you can't do that, they already got the plane ticket and—"

"Why would you go to North Carolina for a school trip about black history month when you can read a book about it," she laughed, causing Selah to furrow her eyebrows.

'Why won't she leave me alone, mind your business'

"It's for the experience—"

"What did I say Selah?!"

"But Ma—!" She gave Selah a dirty look, immediately forcing Selah into her room. This shit was pissing her off, slowly and slowly. Selah slammed her room door behind her, immediately locking it.
