Chapter 5

So I don't really know what last night meant but it really threw me off my game.

And it threw Kenma off too. It didn't help that our first match was against each other.

Every time I looked at him I got really distracted.

They spiked it and I received it.

"Nice receive!" Noya said.

I was getting ready for a spike when mine and kenma's eyes met.

The set was good.

It was perfect.

But I missed.

Then I got taken out and daichi got put in.

"Hey, its okay. You're just off your game today" daichi said patting my back.

I nodded. My uncle looked at me.

"Got a reason to be distracted? Did it have to do with you and that nekoma kid sneaking out last night?" he asked. I blushed.

"U-um... Kinda..." I said. He patted the seat next to him for me to sit down.

"W-well. We went to go see my friend Bokuto, I started having a breakdown and... You know. He was just there. And... We... Kissed" I said.

"You what?!" he asked raising his voice.

"Can we discuss this later please?" I asked.

"I'm not mad that you kissed. Well... But if its throwing off your game than I'm kinda upset. You just got back. So you better focus or you're gonna be out the rest of the game. Got it?" My uncle said.

I nodded. I went over and stood by suga.

"What did you do this time?" suga asked.

"Just... Out of focus" I said. He looked at me.

"You okay?" he asked. I sighed.

"I don't know. I have this really weird feeling. When I look at Kenma, my heart starts beating really fast. And my stomach drops, I get really flustered and my head goes crazy. I don't know why but... I just feel really weird ever since last night" I said looking down.

"Awww! You're in love!" suga said hugging me.

"Well. Last night, I had a mental breakdown, almost. He said I love you. But we always say that... And... We kissed. But I bet its only because I was making a scene in public" I said as if suga asked.

"Girl... Okay. Know what. After the game, just ask him. Some closure is a good thing. But for now" he started.

He then karate chopped my side. And hit my head.

"Get your head in the game missy!" he said smiling. I nodded holding my head.

Kenma's POV~

After the game I moved pretty slowly.

She didn't get to play because of me... Geez... That girl...

I sighed and tried to get her out of my head.

It didn't work. She's so beautiful. Her soft black to white hair, her beautiful Grey and blue eyes, her cute little face...

How could I not love her.

"Hey... Uh C-calico?" I heard from behind me.

Oh shit...

I turned around to see a blushing sad girl.

"Is something wrong Aiko?" I asked. Though I know she's gonna say that the kiss meant nothing and she doesn't like me like that.
