hours past and finally the long day of school comes to end. the sounds of students chattering filled up the room and half of them already leaving to go home and sleep. iu extends her arms and legs making an unusual sound from her mouth. "hey jen, wanna walk with me and get some snacks at the shop?" "i think im gonna stay and study more. maybe next time." jennie said without looking up from her desk. she was too focused on her work. "you are so hardworking. i wish i was like you." iu said playfully wiping fake tears causing jennie too giggle.
"well i should be going now. take care~!" the long black haired girl speed walked happily out the classroom. she bumped into a tall man that was entering the room. it was jungkook.
"iu! are you okay?" jennie jumped out of her seat and ran quickly to her best friend. jungkook reached out his hand for iu to grab onto and she shyly took the offer. "my bad." the fluffy haired boy mumbled and walked to his seat as if nothing happened. iu blushed slightly, "yeah i'm fine."
"that jerk has no manners." the cat eyed girl said glaring at the boy who is listening to music with his eyes closed. as jennie walked back to her seat, she smacked jungkook behind the head to punish him for his attitude towards iu. his eyes widened and were fixated on the small girl. "what the fuck dude?" he said coldly. "sorry. dude." she smirked and turned to her work.
the fluffy haired boy was bored and went through jennie's panda pencil case. "so, is your mom picking you up from school?" he turned his seat towards the hardworking student. for once, the boy's attention was fully on her. "nope." she replied shortly.
annoyed by her response, he pulled her chair closer to him. the cat eyed girl was shocked by this sudden movement. "i-i thought you hated me?"
"that's not important right now. how are you getting home?" jennie stared into his eyes seeing it was full of concern. "i'm walking." "it's getting dark. you can't walk alone."
"you care, don't you?" jennie scooted closer desperately hoping for the word yes to come out of his mouth. the black haired boy felt heat rushing into his cheeks. "pfft no. i was just curious i guess." he got up quickly and packed his things. "bye."
without any thought, the small girl grabbed the boy's arm. "what about you? are you walking?" he shrugged and pulled his arm away. "see ya." he left.
this kid is so confusing. she thought.
ten minutes after their weird interaction, jennie decided to call it a day. as she stepped outside the school building , her mood changed quickly as she felt rain drops on the top of her head. shit.
