Chapter 3:
I looked at my reflection in the mirror, not sure if I was satisfied with my casual look that I was trying to pull off. Today was the day that I was going shopping with Louis and Harry, and I wasn't sure if I should dress up for the occasion.
I glanced back at the mirror, deciding I looked good enough, and headed back into my bedroom that was brightly lit by the sun outside.
"We'll leave without you if you don't hurry up!" Louis voice floated throughout the house and into my bedroom where I was frantically putting my shoes on.
"I'm coming!" I shouted back, hoping they heard me. It wasn't like they were going to leave without me or anything.
Racing down the stairs I finally ended up at the front door, where Louis was playing with his car keys, and Harry was playing with his thumbs. He must have heard me, because he looked up and gave me a quick smile.
"Girls always take forever in the mornings," he gave me a quick wink before opening the front door, and leading the way over to Louis BMW.
As I hopped into the back seat, I could feel my skin tingle. I felt awkward, and unsure. With every second that went by I started to feel more anxious and nervous. I had no idea what was making me feel like my legs were noodles, but whatever it was, I really just wanted it to go away so I could enjoy my day shopping with the boys.
I knew I had everything together though, I was always an independent girl who could pull off multiple tasks on her own.
It was just oddly funny that I didn't remotely feel that way at the moment.
"We're here! Come on Silver!" Harry's husky voice chimed through the air and I quickly opened up the car door. The air was chillier than I thought it would be on a Summer day like this, but everything was still looking well.
"So, tell me again why we're going shopping?" I asked, curious about why two boys would want to go shopping with a girl like myself.
"Well, I usually pick some things up for my girlfriend, Eleanor. Harry on the other hand wanders around the food court and looks for a girl to pick up." Louis voice had a pinch of humor, as he laughed throughout his response. But I wasn't completely sure if he was being serious or not.
I looked at Harry, hoping he'd give off a smirk or something helpful, but all I got was a quick shrug.
After checking out a handful of stores, and purchasing multiple items, we decided it was time to hit the food-court.
Sitting down at a round table, I checked our surroundings. There was a typical group of girls, huddled around a table cheering gleefully at all the bags full of clothes that they had purchased.
Looking more to the right I noticed a group of jocks, looking totally delicious. Louis must have caught my glance, because he let out a sleek laugh and gave a snotty comment.
"Go for it, i'd like to see you try!" Feeling like I had something to prove, I rose from my seat and walked over to the group of boys, completely confident.
I knew deep down that I could get at least attention from one of the boys, I just had to pick what one.
Getting closer my stride started to get stronger, I wondered what Harry and Louis were thinking about this.
Stepping beside a rather cute-ish, but short boy I tapped his shoulder and gave off my best flirtatious smile.
His buddies all let out a low whistle, but I ignored their attention and focused on the short boy who was grinning at me, as if I was easy pray.
