(Well this chapter has been sitting empty for months...... I'm sorry. Lots of stuff happened, like school failing and shit like that. Also I was diagnosed with depression! Yay! I'm supposed to start therapy but the place is being as difficult as possible so now there is other places I need to figure out. Ugh.)

"So............ it was aliens?" Steve said in shock as he looked around the team before landing on Tony again.

"Yes Steve, it was lost aliens that didn't even realize that our atmosphere was being affected so much." The truth was much stranger and Tony honestly didn't know how to tell them. On the way back to the ship he had thought of the alien lie.

Tony shoots his head and stood up. The Avengers watched Tony go and talked quietly amongst themselves; friendly but ignorant aliens? Mystery box given to Tony? Somehow Tony managed to figure that it was something other then a raging storm. Everyone was sure there had to be something more but no one knew what.

Tony, on the other hand, went down to the lab to check on said mystery box. He sat at his desk and examined it for the millionth time. The four symbols like the ones that had decorated Tony's arms decorated four sides with the top and bottom showing a sun and moon. The box itself was made of dark stone and the symbols were carved in then laid with silver. It was a beautiful sight.

A knock on the door pulled the man from his thoughts and he turned just in time to see Clint enter. The blond smiled weakly at him and walked over. "Helleva last few days, huh?"

"Yes." Tony sat the box down on his work desk and Clint stood awkwardly in front of him.

"Makes you think about life, and how, uh, quickly people can come and go out of it." Clint shifted his weight and rubbed his hands on his pants. Tony couldn't help but force a laugh down as he thought of the truth of the words.

"So, I was wondering if you'd, well I wanted to know if you would do me the honor of going on a date with me."

There is an awkward pause as Tony processed what was just said. He nods slowly at Clint and smiled. "I'd very much enjoy that, how about Friday?"

Clint nodded and relief flooded his face. "Yes, Friday is perfect," he said walking backwards and stumbling slightly. "Perfect!"

Tony laughed at him in a good natured way as He walked out of the lab excited like little puppy. Tony shook his head and turned back to the box, resting a hand on the top and tracing the sun with his fingers. "You fought hard, mister Stark," he whispered, "but the winds are weak and kindness will only bring a host so far."
