Kendell stared down at the blood on his hands hoping that this was all some type of dream.

He couldn't face the fact that he actually witnessed the girl that he thought he would someday share the world with take her last breathe in his arms.

*Flashback*

"Breathe , focus on breathing" Keyonna heard in a faint voice before her grip on his hand slowly untightened.

"No , No ! Keyonna don't lose yo grip baby. Come on man" Kendell softly spoke moving her face around.

She opened her eyes weakly staring deep into his soul letting a small smile escape her lips as tears glistened down her face.

Kendell smiled a little at her which only broke his heart a little more. Soon sirens were heard as they locked eyes with eachother.

2 minutes later Keyonna's breathing became irregular. She took one last gasp of air before her eyes closed and her body weakened.

"Keyonna!" Kendell yelled shaking her but it was no use. He laid her body down and cried into her small frame"

*Flashback over*

Kendell and the boys were now at the hospital waiting on Key's family to arrive. He called Nene as soon as they got there letting her know the situation.

10 minutes later they all ran inside going to where he was. Seeing his blood stained hands and his shirt they stopped in their tracks.

Keyonna's mom walked over first looking as if she cried all day.

"What happened to my baby ?" She whispered breaking down once more.

Kendell looked up at her with a look as if he was traumatized & uncertain his eye.

"I found her in a path , she was all bloody and she couldn't move. I-I tried to keep her up I swear but she couldn't hold on" he cried.

She sat down beside him and hugged him as if she knew him for years.

"I'm sorry" he whispered as he laid his head in her chest.

"No baby, you tried. You did all you could there's nothing to be sorry for" she said to him wiping his tears.

Brielle looked at the sight in terror. Keyonna is her cousin , but they've been like bestfriends since the beginning. She felt as if her world was crashing down piece by piece.

"I can't do this" Brielle muttered as her chest began to heavy. Her breathing became shorter.

"She having a panic attack" Nene said running over to her trying to get her to calm down along with 2 nurses.

In all honesty it was too much going on.

Doctors worked on a lifeless Keyonna as she laid on the operating table.

"Make sure the IV is in tact !" The doctor yelled to the nurses.

Keyonna heard the faint voices but couldn't quite make out what they were saying.

All she knew was that she couldnt open her eyes and she couldn't move.

"KeKe?" Was the only little voice that she could hear in her head.

"KeKe, I'm over here" she heard again.

Her mind began to wonder into a totally different place outside of her body.

She was somewhere more peaceful and happy. It was beautiful like she never seen it before.

"KeKe can you see me now?" she heard a familiar voice say.

She looked over to see her bestfriend that had passed away when they were only 13.

"London ?" Keyonna called out smiling.

"Yes it's me, I missed you soo much" London said hugging Keyonna.

"I missed you too , but where am I ?" She asked.

"You're in a better place, where most people go after they live their life on earth" London smiled.

"After ?"

"Yeah , Key you died like 2 hours ago. I don't think you're here permanently I think you're just here for a little while until it's okay to go back" London stated grabbing her hand.

"How come you're here permanently?"

"Because it was my time to come here. It was time for me to be happy and to finally be back with my mama, daddy, and my brother" London said.

"But why did you have to leave so badly though" Keyonna asked.

"I don't know , but look my bullet wound is all healed" London said pulling her shirt down showing her chest.

Keyonna looked at it and smiled.

"I wanna stay here with you, I don't wanna go back" Keyonna sighed.

"But it's not time yet, you gotta go back. I'm with my family , so you should be with yours until it's the right time" London explained.

Keyonna nodded her head.

"I love you key, I swear I'll make room for you" she said.

"I love you too" Keyonna said as a tear fell.

London kissed her cheek before letting her hand go. She reached in her pocket pulling out a small white flower placing it in Key's hand.

"Keep this safe for me" she spoke.

"It's time for you to go back now, just walk into the light and you're home" she said as she stepped back.

Keyonna looked back her one last time seeing her bestfriend smile while waving at her. She slowly turned around and walked forward into the light causing her to let out a loud gasp.

"OH MY GOD , SHE'S BREATHING" the doctor yelled.
