At lunch Jade introduced Sally to all her friends there was Andwea a tall girl with even tougher love, Kathy a small Asian crackhead, Madison who looked sweet but could also kill someone if she wanted, Arianna a beautiful musical theatre nerd, and Green a confused bro that would do anything for love. They all seemed very nice and welcomed Sally right away like they had known her for years. They had all known each other since first grade. They may have had their ups and downs but at the end of the day they love each other and would do anything for each other. They kept talking about how Green's been in too many relationships. Eventually in what seemed like the middle of lunch some tall girl who looked younger than them but not by much came up to the table. She introduced herself as Marisa, she was a freshman while the rest were sophomore's.
After lunch ended Sally felt like she had bonded with all of them already and would be great friends with them all. They all had choir after lunch so that's where they went. When the kids walked into the room them all seemed like relief had flooded off their shoulders. The room was a safe place for all of them to be and act like themselves. The choir teacher after about five minutes to sit in their places and everyone did except Sally because she did not yet have a place.
She stood awkwardly in the front until the teacher noticed her and introduced herself as Mrs. Ballmaier. She then tested her voice and told her to sit next to Katya. In Sally's mind she was freaking out, she was pretty sure Katya hated her. She had friends in this class, why did she have to sit next to Katya. Sally eventually made her way to her seat, she sat down hoping Katya wouldn't notice.
The teacher was telling them that they would soon have auditions for their upcoming winter concert, they were going to be putting on Christmas Carol. Everyone seemed really hyped and excited to see what role they would get. After warming up she went to talk to her friends. They all had their minds set on a different role. But suddenly Katya came up behind her. She asked if they could talk about what had happened earlier. But then the bell signaling the end of the period rang. It was time for her last period of the day, Physical education.
