It was now the day of auditions for Christmas Carol. The kids were called up by character so that everyone got to try out for the role they wanted. Eventually, it was pair auditions for Mr. and Mrs. Cratchit. Everyone in the room thought that the role was automatically going to go to Jade and Gavyn. But Sally had another idea, she had fallen in love with the song that the two sing and thought that she might as well try out for the part.
Just to her luck, Katya had wanted the part of Mr. Cratchit so the two were put in a pair to sing. Jade and Gavyn nailed it, as usual, they had already had the chemistry of playing a couple since they were one. When it got to Katya and Sally's turn they had some unexpected chemistry that no one in the room expected. They perfectly said the lines like a real couple. Hell, they even sounded like a couple that was tired of fighting during the song.
After that unexpectedly amazing performance, everyone in the choir room was shocked. Jade was so proud of Sally. Sally on the inside was freaking out because she totally nailed it and was almost guaranteed the role because after that everyone pretty much simultaneously decided it was their roles. The bell quickly rang after signaling that this class was over and their torturous P.E. class was going to start.
