CHAPTER 20-[A THIEF]

JENNIE POV

I'm here still waiting for Lisa. It's already my second movie but she's still not here...where could you be?. I stop from thinking when I heard a footsteps towards the door. So I quickly ra to it and saw Lisa standing, she was about to open the door.

"Where have you been?" I ask while dragging her inside the room and close it after.

"Do you even care?, no so what's the point of telling you where did I go" she said with her stern voice
She's angry and I don't know what is the reason but I think that I can be the reason of it.

"Of course I care why would you think of that" i said calmly
"You care?... aww because I'm your friend." She said.

"What's happening to you?" I asked walking towards her and put both of my hands into her shoulders and caress it to calm her down
"Nothing." She said with her serious tone of voice.

She go towards the bathroom and clean herself then change into a pajama then lay down at her bed facing her back to me

I can't take it anymore

"Lisa look at me" i said while grabbing her shoulders to face me,but she's too strong but I won't give up on this girl.

"Lisa please talk to me...please..." I said as I continue on nagging her until she gave up.

"What?!" She said with her     authoritative manner as she turns to me.

I snuggle myself into her neck and hug her tight... I won't release this hug until she talks to me

"Please talk to me.." tears started to form on my eyes and I just realized that I'm already crying while still hugging her.

"Okay but please stop crying" she said now with her soothing voice as she hug me too.

I sit up and was about to wipe my face but I felt her hands take mine and she wipes my tears herself. I didn't realize that she also sit up.

"Lets talk after you calm your self" she said still wiping my face with her very soft palms, I just nod and after some minutes I already calmed myself with her help by side hugging me while she caress my left shoulder

"Why did you fake your smile, why did you treat me cold,why didn't you answer my calls, why didn't---" I didn't have the chance to finish as she pulls me into a tight hug and soothe my back maybe because she noticed that tears are forming in to my eyes again and with that simple gesture can make my heart flutter.

"Okay I'll answer your questions but one by one" she chuckles
"And you can ask me again but listen to me first okay?" She said and I just nodded.

"First of all I fake my smile because I was hurt when you said that we're just good I asked you to clarify things but those things didn't work out,secondly I treat you cold because i was really hurt that's why and thirdly I didn't answer your call because I didn't really like to talk to you earlier so in short I did all those things because i was hurt" she just hold my hand and caress it using her thumb.

"So do you still have some questions?" She asked but I just shook my head
"Im sorry I didn't mean to say that I was just--" she cut me off
"Shh, its fine now don't worry" she said.

I shook my head because even I,myself wants some clarification
"Do you mean what you said yesterday?" I ask looking at her straight into the eyes.

"If it is the part of liking you then I sincerely mean it" she said and put her right hand on her chest as a sign of sincerity.

"Then we're official now" I said and hug her but she quickly break it.

"Why?" I ask her with curiosity
"It's too fast,we're too fast... I want to take it slow I don't want to rush things between us" she said
"What do you mean" i ask her still curious about what she's saying.

"I want to do it in traditional ways, I'll court you, ask for your hand in front of your parents,take you to dates....that's what I want to do" she said.

I hug her again and cry but it was tears of joy because I know that she respects our relationship
"Then I'll let you do it in your own way Ms.Lalisa Manoban our campus heartthrob and a thief"she look at me.

"Me a thief?" She asked and I just nod
"Because you stole my heart" i said she just hugged me tight and laid us on her bed because we realized that it's already midnight

We hug each other while sleeping my left arm on her chest and her left arm as my pillow and caress my left hand with her right hand. I snuggle into her neck more until we fell asleep and drifted into dreamland
