Point of View Following changes to Aria
"Desdemona."
The girl sitting by the window slowly turned around.
"It's all my fault," Desdemona mumbled.
"No, it isn't. Also, Meganne doesn't blame you in the slightest."
"That's easy to say but how could she? I could easily have pulled Skye towards me, and...and none of this would have happened."
"It's all my fault," Desdemona repeated, hiding her face in her cloak.
"Even if it is, what is there to change?"
Desdemona slowly turned to face Aria.
"Nothing could be changed. The dead do not come back. However, they will always remain in our hearts, won't they? Wake up, the past is in the past and even magic won't change the past."
Desdemona nodded slowly.
Point of View Following ends; Aria's Monologue starts
The Fairburns were well respected, Matthew Fairburn being a rich CEO and Lora Fairburn being the owner of the fashion chain Lora.
The Fairburns had a daughter, one who excels in her studies, and her parents wanted her to pursue a career in law and become a lawyer.
They were both intimidated and outraged, of course, when it happened.
Aria was magical.
Of course, they tried to kill the magic, but magic could not be killed. They burned her notebook of incantations, but she had memorised those.
And one February morning, she was gone.
Just like that, gone.
It was Melanie, Meganne's mother, who took her in.
Aria was ten, and Meganne sixteen.
Skye was twelve.
Point of View Following changes to Aria
It was not exactly clear to Aria how she and Skye met.
It had been five years from now.
"So, your name is Aria?"
"I am intermediate instructor in magic, and I'll be teaching you!"
Skye. She remembered that day, but it was vague. Skye's hair isn't waist-length and floaty like it was now, but shoulder-length with bangs and was bleached to an ombre grey from light to dark. She got rid of the look as soon as she became magical advisor. Meganne had told them all to "go natural", and she obeyed whatever command from Meganne.
Two years later she joined Skye along with Kylie who was a year older than her, there was another magical advisor who died and Shannon took her place.
The memory of Skye that day was clearer.
She went through the briefing for new advisors smoothly, then brought them to their new dorms and all the rest of the procedure.
Then there was that fateful day.
Yesterday.
Meganne had sent Skye to fetch Chihiro and the others.
Little did she know, the following day would be the end of Skye.
