Although Chihiro didn't know, she was certain that the young woman was Meganne. Her golden blonde hair was sleek and shiny, twisted into elaborate curls at either side of her face and tied into a ponytail at the back. Her irises were a deep, mild blue, and reminded Chihiro of the ocean on a bright, sunny day. Something about her temperament perfected her, but something about that perfectness made Chihiro want to draw back. Skye placed a hand on her shoulder, and something about that reassuring weight calmed Chihiro, and she spoke naturally, to Meganne.
"The Cursed Ghost has returned."
Upon hearing the sentence, the warmth in Meganne's eyes vanished, leaving a cold, penetrating stare, "Which I am perfectly aware of."
And the scenery changed once again.
Meganne's voice sounded, "To get out of your current situation you must find six masters of all seven of the deadly sins, collect five enchanted diamonds and journey to Where the Demons Hide and bring back the Oath of the Vows. I give you-" there was a pause-"twenty-four hours. If the task is not complete, you will face execution."
"What are we going to do?" Steve was the first to speak, "We can't find six evil people, five enchanted diamonds of who knows what size, and the Oath of the Vows, whatever that is, from Where the Demons Hide!"
"Yes, we can. We can do anything if we have the courage and belief that we will be able to do it. The old Chinese saying states, shi shang wu nan shi, zhi pa you xin ren. It means nothing is unachievable. Believe that we can do it, and that will make the belief come true." Riddle said, carefully looking into Steve's eyes.
Steve looked back into Riddle's eyes, and the fire of determination in the vivid green seemed to give him new courage, "Yes, we can do it!"
Now, they could see the surroundings clearly. They were in a bright, circular room with doors on the wall. A message was inscribed into a solid chunk of diamond in the middle of the room, which read:
LUST, ENVY, SLOTH, GREED, GLUTTONY, WRATH, PRIDE
NEITHER GOLD NOR SILVER
AURUM, LIGNUM, AQUAE, IGNIS, TERRA
DAMAGES THE SYMMETRY
OATH OF THE VOWS
WHERE THE D, E, M, O, N, S HIDE
"I don't get it." Desdemona was the first one to speak, after they stared at the words for more than ten minutes.
"Neither gold nor silver...damages the symmetry...where the demons hide... I get it!" Riddle yelled, excited, "These words are telling us which doors to go into! Look for a door that is neither gold nor silver first!"
Chihiro immediately spotted it. The door was made of glass, and opened at her touch.
Suddenly the wind began to blow. The bright light coming from nowhere faded to nothingness, and a whirlwind came out of nowhere, and sucked them all into the door, before it closed with a loud bang.
They were standing in a small village, looking up at a castle built out of human bones, or that was what it seemed to be.
"Cecelia," Chihiro heard Riddle whisper.
Of course---Cecelia Lestat, the famous witch who conquered her world and mastered the seven deadly sins! And they had the Wiggenweld Riddle and Desdemona brew last night, they would be able to make Cecelia follow them back!
"Yeah, the only problem is how we are going to give her the Wiggenweld," Chihiro sighed to herself.
"We'll figure that out later. Now, we need to find a way to get inside that castle." Riddle said, looking up.
