Alex woke up feeling sad about his uncle's death.
All that the police had really told him was that the cause of his uncles suicide was unclear. He tried hard to get information but the force had strongly kept the investigation a secret.
Alex brushed his teeth and showered. He took a light breakfast of fruit juice and biscuits. He went out early for his morning run.
He ran from his house to the area where the mysterious Gothic warehouse was located and then he turned back home.
Alex had to dress in his best clothes for the funeral. He went to the funeral with a smile because much like his uncle he believed funerals were occasions of joy. He always went to occasions like this with a happy heart.
Alex walked into the funeral grounds boldly. He took a seat beside Anita his cousin. She was very talented. She could act, sing and code. She was one of the closest people to Alex.
"Anita, I need your help,"said a distraught Alex. " I believe uncle Jack was murdered" he continued.
"That can't possibly be true" she replied in a whisper.
Alex said,"I thought you might say that , so meet me at Prinston towers tomorrow at 4:30 pm."
By the close of the day the funeral was done. Alex looked forward to visiting Anita at the Prinston tower.
Alex walked to the tower expecting to see Anita but instead was visited with a heavy blow from behind him. He fell to the floor and swiftly blocked the fall with his arms. He quickly got up and turned to hit whoever had hit but he was kicked down.
No matter how Alex hated the police he just wished they were there. Alex's hope of getting his hands on a weapon was destroyed as he was about to be hit in the head with a piece of wood.
Alex was carried covertly into a White van and driven away.
Anita had come but she never made it in time to meet Alex. Maybe that was the best thing that could have happened to her.
Anita thought hard about why Alex didn't show up. She wasn't worried about him. He probably just missed the time.
