The girl as the moon
The boy as the sun
I got this idea from the totally not overused/cringy quote 'the sun loved the moon so much that it died every night to let her breathe.'SUMMARY
The story follows a boy and a girl who were both quite lonely.
The boy wanted a friend, a companion who will be there for him not only in times of need, but also someone who will be there with him to cherish the good times.
The girl, however, was looking for a friend to erase her loneliness.
The boy was willing to give his everything to her, so they could be friends.
And he did.
Her phase to shine came.
She shined bright like the moon because of him.
And finally, they thought that they'll get rid of this loneliness and be friends, true friends.
The girl embraced the light like it's her own.
She thought he'd save her from the devils.
So she stayed with him.
The boy quickly realised this, but stayed in hope that she'll embrace him the same way she embraced his help.
But her phase ended.
He left, and took his light with him.
Cause, how could he save her from the devils
When they lied within her?CONCLUSION
None of the characters were wrong, nor were they right.
Though you might feel as if the girl was selfish and stayed with him only so she could protect herself, but that's a personal opinion, like how it was the boy's opinion to think that the devils lied within her.
Maybe they did.
Maybe they didn't.
But what I hope you take away from this, is that life is not always going to work out the way you want it to.
You might think a certain someone or something is perfect for you, but that might also end up hurting you.
Cause that's life.
It's meant to be complicated.
But just know, everyone's struggling but that doesn't mean yours are any lesser of a struggle from theirs.
But there will be light and there will be happiness in the end.
Don't give up on your hope.
But know there's a big difference between hope and fake hope which deceives people.
The difference is big but it's separated by just a thin line.
