Sooooo I was at my locker picking my books when all of a sudden...
'Miss Evans,' at this point I prayed there was someone sharing my name and I wasn't the one cos that was the stern voice of Principal Robert. I turned slowly, hoping for a miracle and I faced him -there went my miracle..
'Could you explain why you're late?'
I looked down at my hands and tried to make the best excuse. And I came up with
'Good morning Sir'

*seriously Cynthia, nothing else?*

'Is that your excuse?' he asked
I mentally face palmed myself and hoped the ground opened up to swallow me though by now I realised my wishes were futile. When he saw the blank expression on my face, he nodded and said

'I'd thought so, now get to your class and we'd discuss this later'
'Thank you Sir' I said running off to class.

I stepped in as Mr Richard was solving an algebraic equation and I was glad I could catch up from the last class...I'd be the last person to ask for help in maths, I'm not proud, that's just my only confidence.

I gave and apologetic smile and he nodded me to get to my sit...now this was the only class I sat in front at and by front, I meant the third roll -that was front enough for me.

No matter what class as  long Charlie was there, he was always by my side.
So yeah, about Charlie, he's my best friend yeah I'm not the average teenage girl with lots of girlfriends to hang out with but I've got Charlie and I like it that way. We've been friends literally since we were born, he's 3 days older than me only because he came out premature.

He's the only one I told all my problems to without giving a care in the world what he'd say. After him was my dad.
Charlie rose an eyebrow at me and I understood, so I mouthed 'later'. The double period of maths had come to an end and I wished for more time. So it was recess and I was so glad...the break was well needed. I told Charlie about my morning and he couldn't stop laughing

'You mean the world's most punctual girl could actually be late?'and he bursted into a fit of laughter again while I just glared at him. I just had to break the glare and laugh a little.

'I was actually quite scared when Principal Robert showed up, I thought I was in some deep mess' I said after we had both stopped laughing.
'Well it must have been your lucky day because the Principal we all know would have sent you to detention'

That was true...that man was never nice to nobody.
Now I was scared...

Anybody ever had or has a principal Robert?
