Hey readers, how's it going?
How many of us are loving Jason yet? And yeah I'm really working on increasing the length my chapters so no one kill me yet please

On my way out the class, I heard a deep voice call out to me

"Cece?"

And only Charlie called me that besides I didn't have any friends in this class except Daniel who was missing today by the way. I made a mental note to call him up and prayed my sassy mind would actually remember.

I turned and regretted immediately on how I didn't recognize the voice

"Jason, what do you want?"

He looked like he was going to laugh or say something stupid, very stupid if I may add Jason is one of those guys that finds humour in everything. Then finally he spoke

"sorry to burst your bubble but I don't want your number, just my pencil"

And that's when it clicked, I didn't return his pencil, of course, like i would want to give him my number.

Of course you do, my blabber mouth of a mind said

I opened my purse and handed him the first pencil I touched which I crossed my fingers was his. Then I walked out, tryna be all classy and it was that kinda feeling when you finished an award winning singing show and you dropped the mike, though I was glad we were the only two left in class. Yh don't blame me for my thoughts, blame my mind

Oh no you don't get to put the blame on me young lady

I got to the cafeteria and kept my head up for Charlie then I saw him with the football team and I felt bad cause he only goes there when we're done talking but I shrugged it off. I guess they had something important to discuss.

Charlie was that social and indeed the best athlete I know, he runs, plays football, basketball, well all the sports I can't do. So it was natural he got along with everyone, not to mention his amazing grades that gets all the teachers to love him. Well......he was Charlie, who wouldn't love him?

I got my food and got a table with three girls chatting about something I didn't care to join in. When I drew near, one nodded me to sit and I smiled in appreciation. Then a few minutes into me devouring my food, I saw all three of them look up above me, honestly I was scared they were looking at how I ate then I was like

"c'mon I can't be that bad"

"You're actually not"

came a voice behind me. I turned and saw Jason and again urgh.

"Now what?"

"I saw a lonely girl and decided to come keep her company"

"Awwwwwwn but I don't think she needs you, she'd rather die lonely"

Yh I actually needed a companion but my sassy mind probably rubbed off on my mouth to make me say that.

I mentally gave myself a high-five and smirked.
You see, always blame the mind.

Don't you dare start that young lady

"Oh really? Let's check it out"
And his voice drew me back to reality

"But you already fai..."

The rest of the words got stuck after he walked past me and went to little miss goth from English class. I was speechless, he deliberately did that. He looked back and gave me a satisfied grin before asking her permission and sitting next to her. I could have sworn she'd say no but lady luck was on my side once again and she let him sit.

"Someone's been busy.."

I looked back to see my best friend grinning at me.

"And someone's been gossiping bout his best friend?"

I fully turned to him after he took a sit. His expression was puzzled.

"C'mon don't act confused, if you haven't been talking to unnecessary ears, how come he"

I stopped to look pointedly at Jason who was now laughing with goth

"called me CeCe?"

He gasped and gave a shocked expression.

"seriously? I don't know how, hmmmmmm probably a lucky guess then"

I playfully hit him in the chest and he laughed.

Well lady luck has been really kind to me today, probably just another one of her wonderful acts.
I'm very sure y'all got the sarcasm there.
