After getting the tragically earth shattering news of their daughter supposedly being switched at birth, John and Emily Kennish were discussing their next move.

"What are we going to do?" Emily asked as she paced the kitchen.

"We're going to sue their asses, that's what we're going do!" John yelled.

Bayley sat the counter awkwardly and watched her parents with caution.

"I want to meet her." Bayley said quietly.

Neither John or Emily paid any attention to Bayley.

"We have a daughter out there, John.. A daughter we have never met." Emily told him.

"I want to know everything there is to know about this Vasquez woman. Hell, we'll sue her too."  John exclaimed.

"I want to meet her!" Bayley shouted out, finally getting her parents attention.

John and Emily looked at her in disbelief.

"You what?" Emily asked.

"I want to meet my mother." Bayley told them.

"No, absolutely not." John said seriously.

"But I'm your mother, sweetie." Emily reminded her.

"But you're not my real mother." Bayley said.

Emily felt her heart break into a million pieces as Bayley walked out of the room. Johnny walked over and wrapped his arms around his wife.

"You know she didn't mean that." John told her.

Emily cried into his chest for a moment before coming to a realization.

"She's right though.. we have to meet her." Emily said.

"Like hell we do." John said.

"Another woman has been raising our blood for the past fifteen years, John. We have to meet this woman.. and we have to meet our daughter." Emily told him.

John took a deep breath and looked down at his wife as her eyes pleaded with him.

That night, Bayley had snuck out her bedroom window after changing into black attire. She rode her skateboard to her targeted location and took the duffel bag off of her shoulder. Inside was a wide selection of spray paint and a template she had used many times before. Bayley chose her color of paint and spread her template out on the blank wall of a building.

The next morning on East Riverside, Rebecca Vasquez was in a rush to get out the door with her mother.

"Lunch!" Becky's grandmother, Adriana shouted as she practically threw a brown paper bag at Becky.

"Thanks, abuela." Becky said before following her mother out the door.

Regina was usually a pretty hectic person in the morning but something about today made Becky a little curious.

"Is everything okay, mom?" Becky asked as they got in the car parked out on the street.

"Everything is fine sweetheart, why wouldn't it be?" Regina asked.

"I don't know but you've got that crazy look in your eye." Becky joked.

Regina slightly pulled into the street and did a quick u-turn before parking directly across the street at their neighbors house.

"Where is she?" Regina asked.

"She's probably fixing her hair. But I forgot to ask if I could have some cash for after school to day?" Becky asked.

Regina looked over at Becky and tried to hide her concern.

"How much do you need?" Regina asked.

"Just enough for coffee. Sasha and I are going to check out this new book store." Becky told her.

Regina opened her wallet, revealing only a twenty dollar bill. She hesitated before taking it out and handing it to her daughter.

"There you go, that should be enough." Regina told her.

"Thanks." Becky said as she put the money away.

Regina suddenly looked out Becky's passenger side window when Sasha Banks walked outside.

"What is that girl wearing?" Regina asked.

Becky observed Sasha's tight blue jeans and army green crop top that complemented her breasts. She was wearing black high heels with her long, black, curly hair let down to her waist, covering her rather large hoop earrings.

"Hey, Ms. Vasquez!" Sasha greeted her as she got in the car.

Regina looked back at Sasha in disbelief for a moment. Becky laughed at Sasha from the front seat.

Regina finally drove off and made her way down the street.

"Did you guys hear about the shooting at the park?" Sasha asked them.

Regina looked back at Sasha in the rear view mirror

"What shooting?" Regina asked.

"Two kids got shot. Police say it was gang related." Sasha told them.

Becky looked out the window as they drove through East River Side.

"There it is again!" Becky pointed out the window.

Regina and Sasha looked out to find graffiti painted on the side of a car wash. Someone had spray painted the image of Snow White and Cinderella kissing. Sasha took a moment to admire the street art as they drove by.

"That's probably the sixth one of those that we've seen isn't it?" Becky asked.

"Yeah.. And whoever is doing that is clearly trying to send a message to someone." Regina said.

"Or their just tired of not being heard." Sasha mumbled from the backseat.

A few minutes later, Regina finally pulled up to Carlton, the public school that Sasha and Becky attended.

"See you girls later!" Regina yelled out the window as Becky and Sasha got out of the car.

The girls both smiled back at her.

That evening, Regina was walking up the side walk to the house when she got a phone call. She had groceries in one hand so it was fairly difficult to keep the phone to her ear.

"Yes, this is Regina." She could be heard telling someone as she walked inside.

Becky and Sasha were sitting in the living room with Adriana, watching their favorite telenovela, Gran Hotel. Becky was sitting on the floor while Sasha braided her hair from the couch. Adriana suddenly looked over when she saw the troubling look on Regina's face. Regina suddenly dropped her bag of groceries along with her cell phone. As Becky looked back at her, Regina stared at her in a state of shock.
