After my meeting with Ethan in the hallway I decided to find my friends.
Me and my friends weren't the most popular bunch and we hardly spoke to anyone outside of our friend group.
When I got to the field I sat at my lunch table and started to absent mindedly chat to my friends.
After approximately ten minutes into the conversation, the subject of the upcoming school dance was brought up.
Of course, as Ethan was my boyfriend, people assumed we would be going together.
Unfortunately they assumed wrong.
You see, every school dance Ethan had to go with whomever his father asked him to.
Of course this had raised a number of issues and arguments, but it was nothing I couldn't handle.
By this point I had come out of my musings, only to find everyone staring at me.
