Chapter 6: Mate bond

At the first rays of the morning sun, we were already awoken and prepared to resume our journey. There was no time for relaxing. This time I didn't sleep next to Marcuse wolf, but he never put his guard down throughout the night. After he assures himself yesterday that I was fine, he became the same. I made little talks with me but that was it but is much better than him being mad at me for my dumb mistake even if it wasn't my fault. I am kind pleased that he dashed away because I think I got a little closer with guys when I compare the first night from this journey I was withdrawn from them but after I meet them I am now more relaxed to start a conversation with them. Chris and I cracked some stupid jokes which meant that the boys almost strangled us how much they were boring. I had a really good laugh last night.

I think when he dashed away, I felt something ordinary is like I am alone. It was a really weird feeling, I don't know if its mate bond or something else but I missed him around me and when I saw him again I felt complete again. I don't know how to feel about this.

I was still sleepy, I slowly packed my stuff in my backpack I put a hand across my mouth to hide my yawing I was so absent-minded that I didn't felt something tugging at the bottom of my jeans, I was so irritated that I kicked it whatever that was.

I heard a little growl behind which made me freeze I slowly turned around to see Sky Blue eyes looking back.

Oh, I forgot that they will be traveling in wolfs form, I let a little embarrassed laugh.

" I forgot, okay" I put my hands up like I was surrounding.

"I don't think he is angry about that" I heard Vincent's voice behind me.

I turned around to see Vincent finishing his packing, I strangely looked at him and question him" what do you mean"

"He just didn't like that he hasn't got any attention from you" Vincent smirked looking what I think was Marcuse.

I heard a playful growl next to me, I looked at Marcuse and see him laying down which meant that I need to sit on his back.

"My carriage arrived" I whispered on Marcuse wolf ear witch made him snort. I scratched him behind his ear and he let out the sound of approval witch made me smile.

Everything is still strange to me, so I slowly put my hands on his fur so I am not ripping it.

I made myself comfortable on his back and he rises, soon the rest of them joined us. I still couldn't recognize who was who.

The speed they were moving was indescribable, nature background was blurry you couldn't recognize where were you. The blurry sight was giving me a headache and I needed to close my eyes because the sight was giving me a headache. I snuggle deeper in wolf's neck slowly calming myself from the pain breathing deeper, listening to the movements of nature. I was slowly getting better but I still stayed snuggled in Marcuse's neck to prevent any pain.

After a long time, we were slowing down. Marcuse's movements were slower and slower until he stopped. We were at the end of the woods. Ahead of us, the road was extending. Marcuse slowly lay

down on the ground which was covered with snow.

With careful steps, I get off him. I did a little bit of scratching because my legs were stiffened. They went a little deeper into the woods to shift and get clothes and I waited for them.

The journey was making me so exhausted, that I didn't even feel. I just wanted to come to there pack and get a nice sleep in a comfortable bed. I never thought what it would be living in there pack, how will his members react when they see me or treat me, would they be nice to me or they will going to hate me. And I slowly started to get stressed with these new questions that I asked myself.
