Friday

BEN'S POV

Today was normal. 

Me nearly dieing from professor Simon. Me falling asleep 😴 In  Crandall's class. Me nearly dieing again from Ninjas

As soon as I entered my room, I flopped on my bed and fell asleep 😴

For 5 minutes

Then I got a text. I groaned and pulled out my phone to check who it is.

As soon as I did that, I shot up straight in my bed.

The person who text me was Erica hale.

I was in shock. Nobody, I mean Nobody, gets a text from Erica hale.

I quickly read the text. I probably shouldn't have. I are ready knew what she texted me.

Erica: get your ass up. Come to the idiots closet

I smiled. The idiot was the principal, who was a real idiot.He has used a closet as a office since I accidentally blew up his office.

before you judge me, I said accidentally

anyways i walked to the idiots office.  I mean closet

the principal hates me for 1: insulting him, 2: making him sound dumber than he is ( which is hard to do) 3: blowing up his office ( when it was a office) 4: getting sent to the field many times , 5: and he just generally hates anyone who questions his authority.

it was a late spring afternoon, and despite the time of day, many students were outside

I  spotted Zoe, Mike, and Chip playing Ultimate Frisbee. i quickened my pace

things have been very awkward between us since we went to Britain. I haven't talked to Zoe since February. We actually dated for a while. ( I'm gaging right now)

We had dated for a few months, and for a bit I was happy.

But after 3 months, I don't know what happened. We were happy one day, and then we break up the next.

I guess we weren't right for each other.  ( he's finally figured it out! Sadly tho, this is a fanfic and not the real books)

I continued my walking. I made it across the quad and headed to the off- I mean closet

Time skip

I walked up the final step to the 5th floor of the Nathan Hale administration building

By the time i got there, Erica had text me 5 times, telling to get my ass up here, and i still took my time casue nobody but her mother and grandfather has ever gotten that many texts from her

anyways, i stopped by the guards and spread out my arms and legs for mandatory frisking

but the guards just let me through. 

I opened the door and stepped inside. There was 4 other people with me in the room, Erica, her father, Alexander, her grandfather, Cyrus, and the Idiot.

Oh yeah, and the director of the CIA

the last one shocked me. the director of CIA is here?

what the hell?

i would stop on this but i owe you a long chapter

" Ben, you and Erica are going on a mission" Cyrus said

I nod. It was quite obvious. Cyrus never shows up on campus unless it a mission.

He handed me a folder that said for your eyes only.

I opened the folder and began to read:

Benjamin Ripley,

Welcome to Operation Aphrodite. ( * cough* love goddess*cough*)

You will be going to California to stop a evil organization

We do not know what it's called, all we know that is more dangerous than SPYDER.

I gulped. More dangerous than SPYDER?

Erica Hale will be your partner during this mission. Together you will stop this organization.

Remember, the free world is at stake there

This was a lot to take in. Evil organization? Better than SPYDER? This was a high stakes mission. Why is a kid like me doing a mission like this?

I know I have had many successful missions , but I'm definitely not ready for a mission like this

I mean, I know people would kill for this, but I just want to relax and rest after all the missions I've been on.

But I guess I can't.

I left the principles closet and headed to my dorm. I had to pack for the mission

And I'm done. This took too long to write I'm sorry for the wait.  It's also shorter than I wanted it to be so sorry for that also.
