;-; as I started to write this the opening to Yuri on Ice started playing and now I feel way to energized to write. Wait it is the next day...I didn't mean to make this late I'm sorry! ;-;
Ayumu had always been very unsure of decisions, even in his past life he was unsure of every little thing, but he finally decided on crafting. The reason behind this was in his previous life he loved cooking and was considering becoming a chef but decided not to and music is fun but in his next life he might need to craft something to survive, so it seemed like that was the safest option. He never would know what comes next, better safe than sorry. "Ren," Ayumu stated, "I'm going to choose to learn how to craft."
"Alright, stay safe. The longer and harder you work on it the better the results, you can get up to a godly level if you stay long enough." Ren informed Ayumu as he paused the world. The streets and homes around the two of them paused and the whole world stopped. Activating a familiar-looking swirl of colors Ren transforms into his human form and takes Ayumu's hand to lead him into the portal. "The teachers will be quite eccentric so don't be too surprised."
With a nod of his head, he walks into the portal to learn his skill. The room is large with everything you could imagine on the shelves and massive tables and machines to craft with. A male voice that is very flamboyant calls out, "Oh! You must be the new dearie I have to teach! It is of the utmost pleasure to teach you, my name is Tonio! Now, let's get started!" The tall blond man grabs him and before Ayumu could even get a word in he was dragged to the table to start.
After spending a few decades learning how to make crafts Ayumu finally leaves the workshop knowing how to make godly crafts. He never expected that blacksmithing was going to be included but here he is now knowing how to make almost every weapon imaginable. "How was your trip Ayumu?" Ren said waiting in the exact same spot he was in before Ayumu left.
"Good," Ayumu replied, "I think that you letting me learn so much from one skill is kinda overpowered..." His voice had been getting quieter and quieter as he spoke.
With a nod of his head, Ren informs him, "Yeah...it is kinda overpowered but you won't be gaining the opportunity to get skills often so use it only when needed." Seeing Ayumu nod his head Ren unpauses time and the world moves again. Ayumu finally makes it home and looks around for a small roller bag he can use for staying with Hiroto and Hiroto's family.
Finding a small dark blue bag, Ayumu pulls it out of the cupboard and starts packing clothes in the bag. "Ayumu before we go further I wanna make sure you know what different percents on a person means." Ayumu nods his head in a sign that he is listening and Ren continues, "0-20% means that you are pretty much strangers, 20-40% means friends, 40-60% means best friends, and 60-80% means romantic partner."
"So wait," Ayumu asks, "why did Hiroto suddenly jump to 50% after the almost accident?"
"He just realized how fragile life is and how he doesn't want to lose his friends," Ren informs Ayumu and he nods his head. After getting the last of his clothes, toiletries, and some spare money Ayumu starts to walk back to the...home...more like a mansion. 'The amount of walking that I'm doing better help me stay fit later on too,' Ayumu thought to himself. The scary men he saw when he first came to the home give him a quick glance and opens the gate.
"Ayumu!" The same energetic voice calls out as he suddenly gets tackled to the ground. "Let me show you around! I convinced them to give you the room right next to mine! Come on! Let's go! I can show you the gardens and..." Ayumu blanks out as Hiroto keeps on rambling.
The few weeks Ayumu spends at the home leads him to get to know a bit more about Hiroto and his family. Hiroto's mom is named Keiko and his father is named Yuuto. The two are a very sickly sweet pair with their constant affection to each other. Ayumu once had a slip up in English and had to inform them about his parents, obviously with a few details left out. Sure it got him a few looks from the family but that still doesn't explain why Hiroto would blush whenever he just woke up and was going to the bathroom to get ready for the day. The days were nice though. Even though Ayumu did leave his house to go to the park almost every day it didn't help the empty feeling in his house. It was nice to actually feel some company. Sure maybe he was reincarnated but most of his feelings do come from the child who owned this body. His parents weren't bad in any way but they certainly aren't that great at being parents.
Returning to his house was a tearful event, apparently, Hiroto gets his reactions from his parents. His parents are supposed to arrive at his house in a few days, at least they decided to take a break for his birthday coming up, and no he didn't tell Hiroto. The boy would probably try to convince him to do some crazy party and he just can't handle that for now.
I'm struggling with where I wanna start the later parts of their lives because I'm having fun with it but I need to get to high school soon. So after the next chapter, I need to change to highschool, sorry if it seems rushed but it would take forever otherwise.
Since no one gave me an answer on what they wanted I went with crafting, hope no one minds. Yes, it is probably really strong but he can't get skills often so I figured this would be fine. Well, see you all in the next chapter! Bye for now!
Much love to everyone who is reading this, THANK YOU!
