Monty didn't believe he would find love. He tried relationships but they lost interest after a while leaving him alone again.
He saw this one boy that caught his eye. He knew it was wrong to like a boy but he was to beautiful to forget. The way he swayed down the hallways making Monty stare. Or the way he would hum little tunes that would drive Monty insane because his voice was perfect. Monty didn't have the courage to speak to him. So, he was always staring at the beautiful boy. It was weird that he wanted the boy to notice him or to even talk to him.
He wished the boy would stroll down the hall and give him a kiss.
Monty shook the thoughts away and continued his way to class. That was the one class he shared with the boy. He never got work done because he was to busy staring at him from across the room. Watching his every move.
Monty decided he was going to make the first move.
He wrote down a little note and waited until the bell rang. He got up and walked towards the boy and dropped the note on his desk. He was to nervous to see his reaction so he hurried out of the room and waited by his car.
He thought the boy wouldn't like him so he was about to leave when he saw the boy walk up to him with the note tucked in his pocket.
"So you think I'm cute?" the boy gave him a sly smile. The smile made Monty blush.
"Yeah" he chuckled awkwardly.
Why was he such a square?
"My name is Winston. What's yours?"
"Montgomery"
"What a beautiful name" Winston winked at the jock causing him to look away as he blushed.
"Well Montgomery, do you want to take me on a date?" Winston asked with no hesitation.
"If you wouldn't mind" Monty tried to remain calm hearing the boy of his dreams speak such words of hope.
"Well that's good to hear. I love to eat spaghetti and cuddle with cute dogs so you figure what the date will be. I have homework I have to get caught up on" he began walking away to his car across the lot. "See you on Friday at eight" he said as he left Monty alone.
Monty felt Winston was bad news but he got ready for his date on Friday.
Monty was nervous. He didn't know if his outfit was to much of a greaser for the beautiful boy. He knew it was it was to late change. He was waiting outside Winston's house. He checked himself in the mirror and made sure his hair was perfectly combed back. He jumped out of his car and slowly walked up to the big house.
Before he could nock Winston opened the door; revealing him in a cute attire. His shirt was tucked in and his hair was laying messy across his forehead. Making his effortlessly handsome.
"Hello Monty" Winston smiled at him. The smile and nickname was to much for him to handle. He was red across his face.
"Lead the way" Winston held his hand out. Monty grabbed it and led him to his car. He opened the door and closed it behind him. Monty tried to act like a gentleman as possible. He didn't want to screw up his date.
"Where are we going?" Winston asked.
"I was thinking we could go to the theater than eat after?" Monty said more as a question.
"Only if I can pick the movie" Monty agreed. Which was his mistake.
Of course Winston had to pick the scariest one. Monty wasn't a fan of zombies. He hide against Winston's shoulder through the whole movie. Winston would laugh and rub his head.
"I wish not to go through that again" Monty exclaimed as they left the theater.
"Fine no more scary movies" Winston teased. They went to a diner and Monty ordered a fries and Winston got his spaghetti he wanted.
It was cute when Monty found out Winston was a messy eater. By the time he was done eating there was tomato sauce on his face. He smiled and dabbed it off with multiple napkins.
Monty loved his first date.
