The weekend went away as soon as it had started, seemingly gloomy with all the events transpiring underneath a hidden facade. But one thing that was certainly clear to see, was the dark eye bags underneath Gundham's eyes, along with the multitude amounts of crumpled up paper littered around his dorm room.

Instead of enjoying his weekend before the dreaded commencing of school occurred, he instead decided to use his precious time to think up of a gift to present to the Ultimate Mechanic. Why was a present for a mere mortal so difficult to do, he made it seem as if his life depended on it, which clearly it didn't. But Gundham couldn't help but feel as if this gift is necessary, as it could serve a purpose to Kazuichi.

His lack of knowledge in gift-giving was tiring Gundham out, as all he remembers is the feeling of sleeping in bed then waking up at his desk, which appeared to be his weekend home.

The time ticked slowly in the dorm room of the Ultimate Breeder, the accumulated silence made it clearly evident that no gift ideas were being marked down by him, as if his brain had shut off and no longer had any remembrance of common courtesy.

Out of frustration, Gundham threw his pencil onto the desk, his free hands now rubbing his temples to clear up his mind, as if that will help him think of any more clear ideas. To clear his mind and ease his tension, he pulled away from his desk and using the rolling chair he was sitting in, the young ultimate breeder started to return back to reality and level downed his current stress to a bare minimum, making sure that his mind was now clear of his inner chaos.

It wasn't exactly like him to act in such a reckless manner, to push aside his morals and self-care to focus on others. No, that wasn't like him at all. It must be the doing of him, that Kazuichi Soda making his mind run rampant with such useless thoughts. His mind had no time to act in such manner, it was quite silly if you asked Gundham, he'd never given anyone a present before. There were few occasions where his mother asked him to wrap up gifts for his siblings' birthdays and some mere celebrations, but they were never his ideas or compassion that drove him to acquire gifts for others.

But in this case, his mood had felt a small shift in acts when he heard about his dear brother's incident, how he was rescued from possible tragedy by the quick mouth of another student. A brave warrior did require a gift, doesn't he?

The ticking of the clock returned, and soon the loud ringing of what appeared to be a morning bell. Gundham released himself from his inner thoughts and sought for his phone to check the time.

7:55

Morning call was soon to begin and there Gundham was, sitting idly in a chair he proclaimed as his residence, now in a panic over the fact he hasn't gotten ready for the school day ahead.

Messy hair and lazy attempt at looking decent it is then, he thought to himself as he hurriedly went and got all his belongings together for the day. He'll think about his gift for Kazuichi later in the day, but for now, the only thought running through his head right now is to not be late for attendance, and how to explain the reason why he was late.

Kaz's sleep schedule has been messed up over the weekend. And the lack of sleep was draining away any energy he had saved up for this school day. Oh, if only Sonia had kept her mouth shut with her plan maybe he wouldn't have been questioning his sanity during the following nights after.

"Let's get started, so first Nagito-"

"Excuse me, Sonia," Nagito interrupted her before she continued on. Souda was thankful for that. If she continued talking like she usually does when she gets these bright ideas, we wouldn't have a say in anything after she was done."
