The lead character is Kang Chul. He was born in Seoul in 1987. He is a co-representative of an e-commerce company, JN Global. JN Global's aggregate market price is 1.5 billion dollars. He's a multimillionaire whose assets are worth 800 million dollars.
The story begins when the young Kang Chul wins a gold medal in the Olympics 12 years ago. He is handsome, talented and hard-working. He becomes a national star. But when his entire family is murdered, his life falls into the bottomless pit. He gets arrested as the prime suspect of the incident. The problem is that no other suspects appear except for Kang Chul. Chul is sentenced to death at the first trial and the sentenced to life imprisonment at the second trial. However, the Supreme Court finds him not guilty for lack of evidence. However, his hardship doesn't end by avoiding a death penalty. Chul comes home after a year of imprisonment. But he can't accept the reality where he doesn't have his family waiting for him anymore. He can't stand how people still look at him with the eyes of contempt thinking the he's the murder.
After a year of living as an outcast, he decides to die. in his short life, he has never imagined to end his life like this. He feels mad, and he feels empty. At the last moment he suddenly thinks of this.
"Come from behind victory."
Kang Chul chooses to fight instead of killing himself. He can't get his life back until he catches the real suspect. So he will catch the suspect. He will make sure to catch him before he dies.
