Chapter One

My name is Samantha Cruz I'm 17 years of age I'm the only daughter of a wealthy family my mom died when I was young and i only spent a little bit of time with her I was left with my Dad he's the best dad ever .I had a disease called Coronary Artery Disease or "Heart Disease" I was born having a problem with my heart Despite several Surgeries I had but my disease is still on going were here today in Canada because of the surgery I had  just finished  but tomorrow morning will be our flight going back to Korea even if I'm sick that doesn't stop me from pursuing my dreams to free myself from this disease I have and to meet The person who make me happy.Today  I am here with my dad at Toronto General  hospital cause my doctor wants to talk with me and my dad and he's Dr. Cohen he's one of the best doctors here in Canada and  he's a cardiothoracic surgeon but I also have another doctor in Korea his Dr. Wilson .  were  waiting for Dr. Cohen to come inside my room  and I was just sitting at the bed waiting , a few minutes later he came inside

"Good Morning how do you feel Sam"Dr.cohen asked

"Good"

"So the surgery went well
And theirs nothing  to worry about"

"ohh thank goodness"dad said

"but still you need to drink your medicine everyday Sam . But before that I  need to speak with your dad private"

"uhm.. sure anything for you Doc . Dad  I'll just wait outside"

"okay thanks"

"careful honey"

"okay dad"

Mr.Cruz POV ( Sam's dad )

After Sam left the room I sighed then faced doctor Cohen

"what is it about"I asked him and he just sighed then talk

"about what I said to Sam was true but about her heart.."

"What's wrong !?"

"her heart is getting low there different  from all  the other result in the tests  but I'm still working hard on it don't worry"

"Doc please do everything you want just cure her please . I don't want to lose my daughter she's the only family I have . I've already lost her mother and now her I don't wanna lose her doc so please I begged you"

"Don't worry too much I will do my best to save her I won't let you down I know you love her more than your company"

"Thanks Dr. Cohen I don't even know what to do anymore when she's gone it really hurts me much when you lost a child"

"I know but you have to be strong for her"

"Thanks! Uhmm....  can I tell you something"

"of course anything for a friend what is it your gonna tell me about"

"Please don't tell Sam about this . I know it's gonna hurt her but please I don't want to see her sad"

"Sure"

"We have to go now its already night time and Sam needs to drink her medicine and we've got to catch a plane tomorrow"

"we'll have a safe flight both of you I will be meeting  you guys when the next surgery comes bye"

I just gave him a smile when he left I sighed and sit down for a minute 

Sam's POV

I was waiting for dad at the outside of my room.  I saw a handsome guy standing at the nurse counter . I was so curious to know and didn't realize I was staring at him while I was staring at him he saw me and smiled at me knowing that I was staring at him I then look away cause I could feel myself blushing then I suddenly felt  chestpains and my HRM starts beeping I hold my chest were the pain is and looked at my watch and it raised to 200 beats I started breathing heavily I  forced myself to turned around but sadly  he's already gone oh and I almost forgot I have a watch not just an ordinary one my watch is called HRM or heart rate monitor it measures my heart rate if its normal it shows  90  if not it rates 100 above. I saw Dr Cohen came out and left  then  dad came out with a sad face when he saw me  he quickly ran to me

"Sam what happen do you feel any  chest pains pls tell me" he asked with worried face

"don't worry dad I'm fine nothing to worry about it's just a practice yeah a practice. What were you and doc talking about you seem sad when you got out?"I told him that I'm fine and he just calm down

"please don't do that again. Oh you saw me.. well  theres nothing to worry about I'm fine . By the way  Who were you looking at sweety"

"oh you saw me , uhm.. nothing I was just looking around"

"oh okay ! Com'n let's go you must be tired you still need to drink your medicine and we still have to catch our flight tomorrow morning"

"okay dad and I'm so so tired of drinking lots of medicines everyday can't you see I'm getting better now"

"I know how you feel about it dear but it's for the best of you so please. Do it for daddy"

"okay fine ! I'm only doing this for you dad ! Love you"

"love you to dear. Oh and by the way your fiancée will be waiting for us  tomorrow morning at the airport"

"y-you mean jace!? Why ??"

"Don't be rude to your Fiancée  Sam he cares for you I bet he missed you that's why"

"I dont even miss him, and I do not love him" 

" c'mn let's just go"

We started walking I walked slowly and secretly  look back to the nurse's counter to see if the guy I saw came back,but sadly no. I hope we will meet eachother  someday then I run to my father's side.

?? POV

I am here at the Toronto General hospital cause i have an appointment with my doctor today so now I'm here at the nurse's counter waiting . I felt someone staring at me and I turned right to saw a cute girl who was staring at me , I smiled  at her and she blushed and look away and it made me chuckle from her reaction. The nurse called me back from my attention and told me that to go  in the  office now so sad I haven't got her name maybe next time will meet each other I hope so

It's already night time and I'm already in my room I couldn't sleep because of that guy I saw at the hospital and Jace always annoys me

Who was that guy why am I so curious to know him and why I wanna be friends with him ughhh!!!! What's wrong with me why am I thinking of a guy I don't even know I'm just gonna sleep cause tomorrow is our flight to Korea  I can't wait to meet  Eliza and John tomorrow cause I miss them and I also miss school
