EPILOGUE: Two Years Later....

《BELLE》

There is so much that has happened in my life and that I have to be grateful for.

Some days I wonder if any of this is real. If any of this even happened in my life. But it did. Everyday I am reminded by James that this is very real and that everything really did happen.

It has been two years since James joined me on my Holiday vacation with my family.

My sister is doing better. She is progressing in her therapy and her anger management classes as well as going back to school to one day becoming a counselor.

My father was able to finally retire and James helped sell my father's company to a man his family has known for years. The man paid my father very well and now him and my mom can both relax in their retirement.

As for James and I, after we reconciled and got back together, a year later, we had gotten married and had our little boy who of course looks a lot like him.

We plan to have another kid soon, but we are enjoying our first one here, first.

I never truly believed that love like this could ever happen in real life. Let alone, to me. Now that it has, it's taught me a lot and has made me see much more than I ever dreamed.

I know that when I wake up, I am really thankful and know just how blessed I really am.

Today is Mother's Day and I was woken up with James and our son, Alex, as they had made me breakfast and served it to me in bed.

Then they took me out to lunch, then we went to the lake that isn't too far away from where parents house is.

Which by the way, I almost forgot to mention, James and I moved close to my parents. He enjoyed the small town and thought it would be better to live near my parents.

We had moved a few streets over from my parents house, which was perfect. It was good to be able to see them and for Alex to have such an awesome and great relationship with them both. Even my sister and him bonded pretty good.

I have no complaints and no regrets. Life is really good for me right now and there is nothing I believe I would do differently.

《JAMES》

It has been a couple of years now and I could not be any happier than I already am.

I have an amazing wife and an amazing son. Everything I have always wanted but feared I would never have, I have. And there is not one day or one moment that goes by that I take advantage of it in a bad way. I take in every moment that I can.

Today, cause of Mother's day, we had made Belle some breakfast, took her out and then tonight, we went over to her parents house for a Mother's Day dinner.

Belle's dad grilled steak and we did as we normally did and talked and laughed and had a great time as always with each other.

I was so happy also, to see that Monica was getting better. It took a while for both Belle and I to forgive her, but we finally did and are willing to give her one more shot.

Never had I thought I would have a family. Not just of my own, but a family in general. It is an amazing thing and an amazing gift that I have been given. And I don't plan on ever taking it for granted. This is one life that I want to continue living.

It is because of not just my son, a little of my dad, but mostly of Belle, that I am a better man. The man I was always meant to be. And now though she isn't my assistant, we are partners. And I couldn't ask for a better life.

Sorry that it took me a while (few days) to write this last chapter. Was going through some personal stuff. But I am back in the game. Lol. I appreciate your patience and sorry the Epilogue is so short.
