'I'd never cheat.' He said. 'Because cheating means not appreciating the ones you already have and searching for new ones for pleasure. I can never cheat on you.' He told y/n.

Yet here they were, arguing in their home after y/n found out San has been cheating on her for a month now. It happened the first time when he went for tour and he kissed a random girl backstage. It happened to be a female idol he just knew about and the girl was way younger than y/n. He claimed the female idol came onto him but y/n didn't believe him. She couldn't.

Because she also found out he has been seeing that same female idol for a month and never brought up he has a girlfriend.

"Please, y/n. I'm sorry.."

"Sorry you've been caught or for the things you've done? Which one, San? Huh?!" y/n yelled, her tears nonstop rolling down her pink cheeks.

San closed his eyes tight trying to keep himself calm. They argued before but this one was the worst. He tried reaching for her but she kept pulling away, avoiding his guilty look.

"y/n, please.. I can't lose you. I know what I did was wrong and that I have a mind of my own but at that time, I was.. I guess I had urges I couldn't control. But that doesn't mean I love you less. I wish I can turn back time and kill myself for doing what I did but I love you, y/n, I do!"

"Was she pretty?"

"What?"

"I said.. was she pretty? Too pretty your mind just clouded over the fact you had me?" her voice cracked. She had lost so much energy, she just leaned herself on the wall behind her.

San didn't answer and she sobbed in her hands, confirming her suspicion.

"Oh my god, San..."

"Baby.." he hold her shoulders. "Don't leave me. I'm so so sorry for what I did. We can work things out. I-I'll do whatever you want. Just say the word and I'll do it but please don't leave me."

"Then give me one good reason why I shouldn't leave."

San let out a shaky breath before whispering, "Because I'd kill myself knowing I didn't make things right with you and prove to you I can be loyal again. I rather have you hate me in the same room than seeing you walk out that door and I can't see you anymore."

"I-I don't know if I can trust you again."

"Then, don't. Take the time all you need. I want to be there for you when you need me. Punch me when you're angry about something, kick me if I do something wrong.. just.. anything for you to be by my side again."

Slowly, San grabbed y/n's hands and placed it on his chest, kissing it and looked into her teary eyes. "I can't lose you. I don't deserve you but I worked hard to have you as my girlfriend. When I did, I was overjoyed and I told myself if I ever disappointed you, I want to make things right. Whatever it takes."

"San.." you felt nice hearing it. You knew San was a good guy. He never did anything to upset you before so when he said that, you'd think he had done many mistakes before but in reality, he never did. "Earn my trust again, then."

His eyes widened. "W-Wait, you mean it?"

You nodded, sniffing. "I'm giving you a chance. I know I won't act the same around you but.. I still love you. If I have to show you that I am better than the girl you cheated on me with, I'll do that." Your eyes burned with ambition.

"Thank god." He cried out and hugged you tight. He began sobbing in your shoulder, which you responded by patting his back.
