It was quarantine week and it was only the 7th day since the lockdown began. As an introvert (if you are, though), it wasn't a bad thing which means you didn't need to go out for no reason.
But that also means your food at home runs out fast so you had to go out and buy groceries. The road was clear so you didn't mind walking. Driving means risking being stopped by policemen and military men. The convenience store wasn't that far from your apartment, anyway.
When the corona virus spread, you saw online that people started panic buying at every market available. Korea wasn't like that so other people were able to get they want from the market. You entered and exhaled, listing everything you need in your head.
After getting everything you needed, the last thing you need was kitchen tissues. You headed towards the kitchenware and spotted the tissues when you were pushed by a middle-aged woman bumping you.
"Watch where you're going!" the woman shouted at you.
Normally, you'd apologize and walk away – not this time. You were eager to go home and just stay away from people but this woman pushed you and told you to stay out of the way? She needs a scolding.
"Why not you watch where you're going? None of the stuff is going away so you better calm the fuck down or I will." You said with the darkest expression and the woman backed away from you, shocked by your reply. You harshly grabbed the tissues and glared at her before walking out of the market. While you were paying, the woman that pushed you was short on money and panicked.
What did you do? Of course, you chipped in a bit making her look at you.
"Next time you behave in public. Not everybody is forgiving." You slammed the money on the counter and walked out with your groceries. Despite helping a citizen, you felt like everything with the virus spreading ruins the mood.
You got home and shut the door behind you. Your boyfriend, Yeosang, appeared from the kitchen.
"Oh, y/n! You're a lifesaver. We were out of milk." Yeosang went to you and kissed your head. Noticing you didn't react much, he tilts his head to look at you. "What's wrong, babe?"
"It's nothing. Just a bad day." You responded, lazily dragging yourself to the couch.
Yeosang pouted at how upset you were and kept the groceries away before joining you on the couch. He kneeled infront of you.
"Want me to cook tonight?" Yeosang combed your hair.
"Can you cook, though?"
"Babe, you underestimate me," he feigned hurt. "I've been cooking alongside Seonghwa. I am sure I can cook one or two meals."
"Please." You approved, a pout on your lips to which he went uwu for you.
"Alright. Time to work on my magic." Yeosang rolled up his sleeves and began his 'magic'.
Turns out Yeosang was able to make a decent spicy rice cake and cold noodle soup. It took him one hour and a half to finish cooking so you were looking forward to it. Once he was done, he called you over.
"This looks good, Sangie." You sat down, drooling over the meal before you.
"Of course. I worked hard especially when you were having a bad day. I didn't want to make it worse so I made a simple meal instead of a hard one. Otherwise you blow up at me." Yeosang chuckled.
"Aww, babe." You reached for his hand. "I'm so lucky to be your girlfriend. You're so thoughtful of me."
"You did the same for me. We're even. Now, shall we eat?"
"Yes. Because your stomach's been growling since just now."
