"Out of all days, I don't bring my umbrella with me tonight." You groaned watching the rain pouring down so heavily, you can feel the jab of raindrops on your arm.
You got back from work late so you didn't have time to make dinner for yourself, so you went down to a mini mart to have instant noodles there. It didn't rain while you were there so you stayed back to enjoy your dinner. Just when you're about to leave, rain was pouring down heavily.
You would buy an umbrella but it was 20,000 won (16 dollars u.s) and you wanted to save money for more important stuff. Besides, you weren't in a hurry to go home. But you were really tired.
So, you sat down inside and played with your phone. Sitting on the other table was a young boy wearing a mask and a cap. You noticed he was watching you while you were outside but you ignored it and sat there bored.
The boy was done eating and threw his trash before passing your table. When he did, he tapped on your arm. You looked up.
"Come on." He said then just walk out of the store leaving you gobsmacked. You didn't move for an entire minute, he went back inside and pulled you out with him. You snapped out of it and struggled to let go.
"Pervert! I'll sue you! How dare you touch me?! Let go!" You cried and he let you go, frowning at you.
"Right. I forgot I wore like I'm robbing you. My bad," he softly replied and removed his mask to reveal how handsome he was- wait. He looked awfully familiar. He noticed your expression. "You know me, right?"
You gulped. "Y-Yeah. You're Jongho from a group called Ateez."
"Just Jongho. I'm a regular guy outside of my company," he chuckled. "I noticed you didn't bring an umbrella. It's still pouring."
"It is."
"Share with me, then. I'll send you back to your place."
"Sure- wait, no! That's fine, I'll just wait for it to die down. Your fans will murder me if they see me with you."
"And? Like I said, I'm a regular guy." He shrugged like it's nothing.
"Well, Jongho-the-regular-guy, as much as it helps me, I am not taking advantage of you. I could be a kidnapper and keep you to myself."
"You do know I am the muscle of the group, right?"
"Okay, I give up. Let's go, macho." You linked arms with him and he laughed by your answer before you led him to your place which wasn't far. The rain stopped by then.
"Thanks for sending me home, Jongho. I owe you."
"Of course. I won't leave a girl as cute as you to walk in the rain. You'll get sick." He said with a pout.
You forgot how gentleman Jongho is on camera. He is much more handsome in real life and kinder.
"Cute? I'm not wearing makeup."
"Who said makeup should make you cute? If you're cute without one, I can imagine how amazingly beautiful you are with makeup. Makes you 10x hotter." He winked.
