Kate’s POV
“Hello?” I said.
“Hey man, It’s me, can you meet me there in 5 minutes?” I just stood there and didn’t respond…”
Hello?” He asked.
“Who is this?” I said.
“This is Niall Horan…Who is this?” He asked.
“This is Kate Blackwood…I think you have the wrong number…” I said.
“Oh Sorry Love, I meant to call one of my buddy’s. Sorry to bother you…” He replied.
“It’s ok…” I said trailing off.
“Maybe we can pick up on this later?” He said. I thought for a moment. I recognized the name but I couldn’t exactly put my finger on it…Niall Horan…I had to respond quickly though…
“Uhh yeah, I guess…” I said to the boy on the phone.
“Great, speak to you later, yeah?” He asked with his strong Irish accent.
“Yeah, bye” I replied.
I hit the end button on my cell phone and slipped it back into my pocket. I continued to walk home and then felt my phone vibrate again…
“Hello?” I asked.
“Hey, yeah sorry, what was your name again?” The boy with the accent said.
“Umm…Is this the guy that just called?” I asked…
“Yeah, Niall, What’s your name again?”
“Kate” I said…
“Kate, I’ll remember that” He said. I started to smile. “Alright, thanks” He said before the phone went to a dead tone.
I kept repeating what he had said to me… “Kate…I’ll remember that.”
