Chapter 4

CHAPTER 4 OF “LOOK ME IN THE EYES AND TELL ME YOU LOVE ME”

Hey guys! This is really just a filler chapter before I get to the good stuff with the concert and meeting Niall and all that good stuff! Thanks!! :)

Kate’s POV:

Two Days. Just Two Days. That’s how long I had. That’s how long I had until I was going to the concert. These past 2 weeks have flown by. Not even kidding. I was nervous and excited at the same time. I really wanted to meet him. I don’t know, this past week I’ve sorta felt like we had a connection of some kind….what am I saying? I haven’t even met him yet. Oh well! :) His beach blonde hair just pulled you in to his cute personality. It was kinda hard to not like him…

“Kate, what is the answer to this projectile?” I heard my teacher ask. Oh! What?!? Shoot! I was daydreaming! Umm…What?? Projectiles…I know this…ummm…NO I DON’T!! Um..just guess…

“Umm…2.4 m/s²?” I answered and asked at the same time.

“Yes, that’s the acceleration, but what is the displacement?” She asked.. Ohh…umm..

“Oh, I didn’t solve for that…sorry,” I replied, hoping she’d pick on someone else. It wasn’t that bad. I’ll bet you everyone else in this classroom doesn’t know what she’s talking about.

“Ok, Wesley, do you know-” My ears just seemed to shut down. Like I couldn’t hear what she was saying. I just couldn’t get Niall off my mind. STOP! You need to STOP!! Otherwise you won’t get any of your work done, Kate!! God! Why did he have to be so attractive!! And cute?! :) Haha!

*BINGGGG* There goes the bell! Yes! I can go home! It’s about time!

I started gathering my books and folders and stuffing them in my backpack. It was Thursday. Their concert was on Saturday. It was so close. Haha! I smiled to myself. I was thinking about him again. I just couldn’t get his voice out of my mind. I pulled out my iPod and headphones before closing up my backpack and slinging it on my back. I stuck the headphones in my ears and choose a song.

When I heard them sing, it was like the whole world paused and was just revolving around them and me. I was so plugged in. I was walking home now. In about 2 blocks I’d be home. I had the music turned up so loud that I didn’t even notice it til the last second. A black van came zooming past me. I almost thought it was gonna run me over. Then, I heard screaming…screaming girls?? I turned around to see TONS of girls with posters and cameras and their phone out in front of their faces. They were all screaming. They were all running towards the van…but it was like I was the only thing blocking them. Evidentially they thought it was Ok to just shove past me and, you know….KNOCK ME OVER!! What were they so excited about?!? I didn’t even know if it was excitement at this point…I thought it was maybe madness. I was now down on the pavement, trying to get back to my feet and start RUNNING home.

After about 2 minutes, I FINALLY got to my feet and started walking to the outside of this HUGE crowd. I decided that rather than trying to go down the main street to get home, I’d just take the back way through the alley ways. When I got home I walked in the back door.

“Jake?? I’m Home!!” I yelled through the house. No answer….

“Jake??” I asked again…not yelling. I walked through to the front of the house. All I saw was Jake just staring out the window. I heard screaming girls too. What the heck?! I joined Jake by the window. There had to have been at least 100 girls on our front lawn. All of them facing us. They were…cheering?? Then I heard our doorbell ring….What is going on?

Ok, so I know that was a SUPER short chapter, but it was just preparation for MEETING NIALL!! YAY!! Kbye! :)
