CHAPTER 23

The night before the Love Live final, members of IRC are at the clubroom, having a sleepover. Taichi checks his augma as Nozomi holds her purple augma. "Wow, you already upgrade this augma," said Nozomi. "Yeah Eli and Maki also have their upgraded version augma," said Taichi. Nozomi wears the augma. "Welcome Nozomi Tojo." She looks in awe. "Incredible. It is far better that my smartphone," said Nozomi. "I wish I get that," said Honoka. "I get you when you graduate," said Taichi. "Why didn't I get that too?" asked Nico. "Not enough height," teased Taichi, earning a glare from her. "Stop bugging her, Tai," said Maki as she hugs his neck from behind. "Well, she does has short temper beside her short height," said Taichi.  "Shut up!" yelled Nico.

As ten of them having dinner, Taichi looks at the members. 'I wonder what if I stay with I was instead of trusting Maki-chan on this' thinks Taichi.  "That's how life is." Taichi looks at Nozomi. "When you give life a chance, you will find something miracle out of it," said Nozomi. He smiles. "Yeah, you're right," said Taichi. "Aren't you glad you choose to accept us?" asked Nozomi. He looks at the girls that talking and laughing to each other. "Maybe but now I understand a bit why Maki-chan wants me to trust her and you girls," said Taichi.

"Let's play Test of Courage, nya!" yelled Rin. Taichi chuckles, remembering what happen at his rest house.

*Flashback*

Eli walks slowly along the hallway, looking around. "Where is the toilet? I can't find the switch," said Eli, scared. A candle appears beside Eli as she takes it. "Thank you," said Eli. She then no one around and start to scream. Taichi run towards fainted Eli. He looks at a spirit figure that appear beside him. "I want to say 'you're welcome' but she faints," said the spirit. He chuckles and picks up the blonde bridal style. "I'll bring her to her room," said Taichi.

*End flashback*

Taichi chuckles. 'I don't think she can handle that' thinks Taichi. He feels someone hug him. He looks at Eli that hug him real tight and the room is dark. He chuckles. He hugs back. "Come on honey. we still have moonlight so it won't be fully dark," said Taichi. "Hey, let's look outside," said Honoka. They head outside towards the roof.  They look at the light of building. "When the time comes, we will shine brightly like a star," said Taichi.

The next day, they arrive at the final Love Live concert. "I know the stage is grand but I don't know it is that grand," said Hanayo. "Well, Love Live competition is national competition," said Nico. The dark brown haired smiles. 'The journey we accomplish together' thinks Taichi. "Time to prepare our performance. Come on," said Eli.

Taichi looks at the performance with smile. Tsubasa stands beside him. "You must be proud of that group," said Tsubasa. "Yeah they really shine like a star," said Taichi. "You should be our manager," said Tsubasa. "I'm still thinking to start performing or managing another idol group," said Taichi. "I am pretty sure you can handle that. And to let you know, we really want you to be our manager," said Tsubasa. He smiles. "Yeah, I know," said Taichi. As the audience calls "Encore!" as A-Rise join. Taichi smiles as he heads towards the backstage. 

The girls look at Taichi that pulls out their second dress as they smile in glee. "The audience wants an encore. Show them how a true school idol perform," said Taichi. They cheer as they head towards the changing room. Taichi heads back to the audience. 

Taichi claps with a big smile. "Well done, girls. You have shown how you have grown," said Taichi. 

The judge announces that Muse is the second winner. The girls scream in joy as Maki and Eli hug him. "Go ahead girls. You deserve it," said Taichi. They head towards the stage and take the prize as the are crown as Love Live champion.
