At the end of Chapter Two, I discussed the "gear" needed for the fight for your faith.
I will give you the Bible's definition of gear and then I will give you the definition from a disability advocate's point of view.
As written in the book of Ephesians, we're to put on the following items of armor before entering onto the battlefield.
God asks us to put on the "belt of truth", the "breastplate of righteousness", the "shield of faith" the "helmet of salvation" and finally and most importantly to make sure you have your sword ready at all times.
Sword meaning The Bible; studying it, word for word will prepare you for the imminent battle that's going to take place in your life.
The life of a Christian is not easy, but when we have God in front of us, our battle is won.
So let me end this chapter by asking you a question to keep in the forefront of your mind;
Are you truthfully ready to fight for your Godly life?
Or are you ready to throw the armor away and back down?
The decision is yours, but take it from someone who's still fighting the good fight, I want to hear God say to me at the end of my fight "Well done, good and faithful Servant, Enter into the Kingdom."
Keep fighting the good fight, and when God calls you home to Heaven, you can rest assured in the arms of Christ knowing your fight is over and you won.
