Chapter-7

I woke up breathing heavy and sweat poring from my body. Funny thing is I don't even remember what the nightmare was about all I know is Joey was in there because I can still hear his laugh. Wait a second...

"Hey Kelly, did you like my little show?" He smirked evilly.

"Y-you did that?" I asked still in shock of what he just said.

"Yup." He said not letting that stupid smirk off his face.

"Why?"

"I thought you could use a little excitement considering you've been doing everything in your will to not be alone." He shrugged as if it was no big deal. "It was fun no? My favorite part was when almost fell in to the fire. God I was like 'no Kellin you're hands might slip' but when you-"

"Shut up! You think this is some kind of fucking joke?! You did this to me!" I motioned to the dark room that was illuminated by the street lights. "You made me slice my wrists when I couldn't take it any more! You made me fear every thing I saw, thinking it was going to get me when I least expected it! You made me want to die every day because I knew you would have some fucking trick up your sleeve to make every one at school think I was insane! I hope you're fucking happy because you made my like a living hell and took my only friend away from me! SHE WAS MINE! I LOVED HER FIRST!" I screamed at him thinking he would be afraid but boy was I wrong. He pushed me to the bed and straddled me pinning me down.

"Don't you ever scream at me again. Do you under stand me? Because I can make things a lot more worse for you." He snarled calmly in my ear. I don't know what I should be afraid of, the fact that he threatened me or the fact that he didn't yell back. He pushed off me and stood by the bed looking down. "I'll be back you just wait." and with that he was gone.

"Kellin? Are you okay Hun?" My nurse said as she walked in the door.

"Yea I'm fine. It was just a nightmare." I lied or did I? Truth is what Joey proposed seemed to be a nightmare I can't wake up from. I did my routine and laid back down. I didn't want to do any thing today. God he ruins everything.

I woke up maybe 3 hours after the little thing happened with Joey. I waked around the hospital not really looking for someone to talk to. I went to the rec room where Tony and Jaime where playing a card game.

"Hey Kell, you wanna play?" Jaime said as he shuffled the cards. "We're playing poker." He smiled before adding "With gummy bears."

"I don't know I'm not that good a poker, but what the hell deal me in." I lied sitting down. Truth be told I was really good at poker I used to play it all the time with my grandpa and he would tell me my tell signs when I was bluffing. We sat and played for a good 2 hours and I won almost every game.

"I'll raise 5 Blue and 4 red." Jaime said while he bit his lip. Tell sign he's got a good hand so he's bluffing with that little amount. Obliviously Tony didn't see that, but I did and two can't play this game.

"Damn I fold. What bout you Kell?" He placed his cards on the table. I on the other hand had a one pair but I know how to keep a poker face.

"Naa I raise 10 blue and 8 read." I put in my gummy bears and watched as Jaime threw in his cards.

"Fuck man! I fold." He smiled.

"Yea baby! I was bluffing!" I took what was rightfully mine and popped a gummy bear in my mouth.

"How the fuck do you do that?" Jaime asked as Tony picked up mine and Jaime's cards.

"Holy shit! He was bluffing! He had a one pair and you had a flush! How do you do that?" Tony laughed at Jaime's confused look.

"I know what I'm doing. I smirked "Oh and Hime you need to work on tell sign."

"Teach me oh wise one." Tony bowed to me. I laughed and sat back I my seat.

"How bout we play one more and I point out your tell signs." They nodded and I shuffle the cards before handing them out.

Already half way through the game and I pointed out three of Tony's tell sings and 1 of Jaime's, scratch that two.

"Hime, your leg after you raised 3 yellow. I noticed that after the first game."

"Thanks man." He nodded and Tony made his move. He didn't do anything maybe I got all his wait, no.

"Hey twitch." He frowned his eyebrows in confusion. "Stop the tappy tap you're big time bluffing." I smiled and made my move. "I raise-"

"You play a good game Kelly." Joey cut me off before I could even say what I wanted.

"Not now Joe. I'm with my friends." I whispered.

"Who these chumps? They don't look like friends." He said standing next to me.

"Kell?" I looked up from my cards at Tony before he pushed on. "You raise..."

"Uh... Actually I fold guys. I'll see you later." I put my cards down and pushed away from the table with Joey trailing behind me.

"I'll go talk to him" was all Jaime said as I opened the hallway door. "Kellin wait!" I heard his foot steps quicken and I too picked up the pace.

"Yes Kellin wait! Please I'm you friend!" He mocked Jaime's voice. "Bullshit! He's not your friend and he never will be." Okay that's it!

"Shut the fuck up Joey! God why are so focused on making my life a living hell!?" I screamed at him. Well what I saw was him but to Jaime I must have looked like I was screaming at the wall.

"Kellin? Who are you screaming at?" I heard him question, but I was more focased on the thing in front of me.

"Yea Kelly who are you yelling at? I bet he thinks you're crazy now." He smirked.

"I'm not crazy!" I yelled.

"I never said you where." Jaime looked at me confused.

"Oh but he's thinking it. I can hear him. 'This kid is out of his mind.'"

"Leave me alone! You always ruin every thing!" I lunged at him but I ended up going head first in to the wall.

"Oh shit! Kellin!" I saw Jaime run I my side. My head was going a million miles an hour and every thing went black. I could still hear things but I couldn't see anything.

"Jaime I can't see! Jaime!" I put my hand up to my forehead when I felt a worm liquid running down my face. "Am I bleeding!?"

"Yes now try to relax I'll go get you help." Before he could leave I grabbed his sleeve pulling him back.

"No don't leave me please! I don't want to be alone!" I begged I could feel him sit against the wall and pull me in his lap. "God please some one help me! I can't see!" I yelled.

"Hey you! Go get help please! My friend needs help! Hurry!" Jaime yell to someone. "Someone went to get help okay Kellin just hang in there." He said rocking me back and forth trying to calm my sobbing. Thank god Vic didn't see me like this.
