Chapter-10

"What do you mean? I'm talking to my parents." I pointed to the two next to me but my nurse walked closer giving me the same confused look.

"There's no one here Kellin." She said putting her hand right next to the seat my mother was in.

"No my mom is right here and my dad is in that seat. Look." I pointed again and they smiled at me but my nurse looked as of she had no idea what I was talking about.

"Kellin your mom and dad aren't here, just like yesterday, Vic wasn't there either." I pulled at my hair with both hands and saw my arm wrapped with a bandage.

"No you're lying! Vic was there when you ran in! He was trying to stop me but- Joe- he made me ignore him! He made me do-" Was what she saying really true? "My mom and dad are right there! Why don't you see them?" I was choking back sobs but maybe for my own good.

"No sweetie they're just empty seats. Look." She sat down on the Chair my mom in but nothing happened. My mom was still there but my nurse seemed to be sitting right through her.

"But she-" She was gone, he was gone, they were gone. "She was right there you where sitting on her."

Kellin, hunny. No one was here." She took my hands away from my hair and held them down.

"They said you called them when I was asleep. That you told then about yesterday afternoon." and then all of the sudden Vic came to mind. He was there, he saw everything I needed to explain. "I want to talk to Vic." I whispered quietly.

"Pardon?" She asked.

"I said I want to talk to Vic can you please get him." It was more of an order then a request but she didn't do it instead she questioned me.

"Kellin, who is Vic? This isn't the first time you've mentioned him." Anger rose in me and my body turned hot.

"I want to talk to Vic. I might be schizophrenic but I know I'm not crazy! Just get me Vic!" She jumped at my sudden raise of voice and hesitantly walked backwards to the door.

"I'm going to get doctor Macy he might want to talk to you." Before she could leave the door I ran past her into the hallway. "Kellin wait!" I didn't stop though I kept running when I heard her say some thing in her walkie-talkie.

I ran like my life-no my sanity depended on it because it did. If I didn't find Vic then no one would believe me when I say he's real I need to prove that my schizophrenia isn't taking over me. Just then I literally ran into the one and only.
