I decided to ignore Zach for a bit. Till we both felt happier and could have a proper conversation. I was just mad at him for turning it round to him each time. He could keep trying with that but it wouldn't work. The boys didn't ask much and I didn't talk about it.
One day, I was talking to Ashley when I saw this boy I'd never seen. Ashley noticed and looked at me. "You have a boyfriend you know," She smiled. "Yeah I know, I don't like that guy like that. I've just never seen him," I told her. The boy turned around and saw me and Ashley staring at him. He smiled at us and turned back round. "Ok he saw us staring."
Ashley came outside with me at lunch so we could be away from the boys. We were talking when the boy we saw in the morning came over to us. "I caught you staring at me this morning," He said to us. "So?" I asked him. He sat down next to me and smiled at us. "I'm Ben," He held out his hand for us to shake. "I'm Hope," I shook his hand and he smiled at me. "I'm Ashley," Ashley shook his hand as well. "So why were you two staring at me?" Ben questioned. "I don't know, just bored I guess," I shrugged. "Nice to know I stopped you from being bored. See you two around then," He got up and left us. "He is cute but he isn't my type," Ashley commented. "Just wait till you hang out with him more and more. Then you'll fall in love with him," I smiled.
We did end up hanging out with Ben more. Nia and Emily had a chance to meet him too and they got along well. He was a nice guy and I could tell Ashley was starting to fall in love with him. She would always try and get moments alone with him, which made us all laugh. Ben was also able to get his hand on some alcohol. We never questioned about it, in case he stopped. Zach had left my mind and I was enjoying time with everyone. Care free.
