Tessa POV

It's been four years since Hardin sent me back to Washington and broke every single bit of me, again. I cried myself to sleep night after night and for so long I've tried to figure out what I did wrong for him to push me away like that, but I didn't do anything wrong, he pushed me away because he of his own problems. When he has problems he thinks the whole damn world is against him but all I was trying to do was be there for him. After I got back to Washington I was staying with Landon for a couple weeks because I don't want to ever go back to that apartment ever again, it is just filled with memories of Hardin and I. My father got out of rehab a couple months after and has been clean ever since. He is married to his wife Allie and she is the sweetest lady ever, she has made him into a better person and I'm happy for him. I kept in contact with my father and Allie, and they sound very happy together.

When I went back to Seattle, I got my own place, I couldn't stay with Kimberly and Christian forever so I moved into an apartment. I'm graduating college this year finally and I'm still working for Vance publishing, and I'm doing good after everything, after him.

Zed and I started talking more and more when I went back to Seattle and he came out a few times. It was nice to be friends with him again, he came out to Seattle to see his friends and asked me if I wanted to hang out and I said yeah. We went to the movies and had really fun, after that we started to hang out more and he came to Seattle almost every weekend and we one day we went on a hike and he kissed me, I don't know why it felt so wrong to me, after that we started going out and really liking each other. Zed and I are now engaged and we couldn't be more happier. I've completely erased Hardin from my memory, and I've been good now that he is out of my life, for good.

"Zed, wake up" trying to get Zed out of bed is so frustrating

"Mmm no twenty more minutes"

Zed and I are going to Landon's wedding today, he is getting married to Sophia and I'm so happy for him

"No we have to get up now or we'll be late, we still have to get ready"

"Ugh fine, you're lucky I love you"

I giggle, I'm Sophia's bridesmaid and Zed is Landon's best man

Zed and Landon have grown a strong friendship over the years

"Zed" I yell from the other room "where is my jacket at"

"Umm I think it's in our hall closet" he yells back

I go to our hall closet and open it and search for my jacket, we have way too many in here, I keep ruffling through all the clothes when suddenly something falls out, I pick it up and notice that it's the bracelet that Hardin gave me for Christmas all those years ago. Why is it in here? I must've kept it and it has been in there for three years, I didn't even notice that I kept it. I stare at the bracelet for a little longer when Zed appears behind me "hey babe whatcha doing" he says while brushing his teeth "oh nothing I'm looking for my jacket" I say, he eyes the bracelet in my hand but he ignores it and says "it's right here" he takes the jacket off the hook and places it in my hands "it was right in front of you, how did you not see it" he laughs "I don't know I must be blind" I laugh along. He walks away to go back to the bathroom and I look at the bracelet and throw it back into the closet, I should probably just throw the damn thing out but I can't bring myself to do that.

I get dressed in some black leggings and a striped T-shirt we are not supposed to dress up yet because we are getting in our wedding clothes soon at the hotel room, we have to drive back to Washington for Landon's and Sophia's wedding.

We eat breakfast, brush our teeth and brush our hair and we are ready to go

"Ready" he asks

"Yep" I say back as I'm checking my bag again to make sure I have everything

He laughs, "are your sure"

"Yeah let's go"

We walk out the door and down to the car
