So I guess today I'll be seeing 💜 Stephen 💜 again. Yay!
I get ready.
After bingewatching stranger things until 5:00
I hear a knock at the door.
Good thing I got ready BEFORE he showed
"Greetings and salutations." He says after I open the door.
"Hi! :)" I say.
"Can I look at your gecko?" He asks.
"Of course!" I say.
He walks over to Bapu's tank.
"Oh shit." He says.
"You gonna keep it?" He asks.
"No. I'm surprised Bapu didn't kill it already."
I say.
"Oh. I thought they where social?" He says.
"With humans." I say.
After a while of playing with Bapu, Stephen asks what I'm going to do with the other gecko.
"Maybe sell it to someone. I have an extra tank and heating mat and everything it needs." I say.
"How much is it?" He asks.
"Close to $110. They aren't that expensi-"
"I want it. ❤️" he says.
"Seriously?" I ask.
"Yes. It's so fucking adorable." He says.
"Ok fine. He costs a box of eggos." I say.
"I have some in my car." He says.
"Wait seriously?" I ask.
"Yes. I was going to give you them." He says.
He runs to his car.
We get everything set up for the gecko... and he was fine.
"Holy shit I was not expecting to give you a gecko!" I say.
"Hahaha." He laughs.
It's now 6:10.
We get in his car.
We arrive at this hiking spot.
"Okay. I guess we are here now."  He says.
"Yep." I say.
We walk for a while on a trail.
"So... is there anything I should know about owning a gecko?" He asks.
"They will kill each other, so don't own more than one in the same cage." I say.
"But they like humans?" He asks.
"Yep!" I say.
"They eat stuff like crickets. You can look up stuff they eat if you want to feed them something new. You can treat them to worms maybe once a week." I say.
"Ok. What worms..?" He asks.
I explain everything from what food they like, to where to hold them, and to NOT grab their tail.
"You know a lot about geckos.. your really smart." He says.
"You think I'm smart?" I ask.
"Yeah." He says.
I smile.
"Thank you." I say.
"You must be smart to be a teacher." I say.
"Hahahaha.. you have a lot to learn." He says.
I start laughing.
It starts to get really cold.
I shiver.
"Are you cold?" He asks.
"Um.. yes." I say.
He takes off his hoodie.
"Here." He says.
I put it on. No questions.
"Huehuehue it's warm." I say.
"Hahaha." He laughs.
We keep going on the trail.
We are kind of high up, so I can see a good view of some houses below us.
The sun is setting.
It's beautiful.
Me and Stephen stare at it until the sun goes down.
"That was nice..." I say with a smile.
"Yeah." He says.
We walk back down to his car.
We get in the car and he drives me back home.
"Well... that was nice." I say.
"Yeah. I hope you had a good time." He says.
"I did. Good luck on... "teaching shit." Tomorrow."
He laughs.
"Thank you.. see you later." He says.
"See you." I say.

After a while of more stranger things,
I look down.
Shit!!!
He forgot his hoodie!!!
I get in my car.
I drive to his place.
I walk up the stairs to get to his apartment.
I knock on the door.
He opened it.
"Oh... hey!" He says.
"Hi! Uhm... you forgot your hoodie."
I say.
"Oh! I did..." he says.
I hand him the hoodie. "I'm sorry. I didn't notice" i say.
"It's fine!" He says.
"Ok. Well.. imma go." I say.
"Ok! Bye!" He says.
