Naruto had a bad feeling that something was going to happen that would forever impact the hidden leaf village and he was right.
The moment he got back from the hidden cloud village he was called to to the Hokage's office once there Hiruzen said.
"Kii raiton kitsune. Your mission is to observe and report the happenings of the Uchiha clan. I suspect that the Uchiha clan are planning to overthrow the village. I've been negotiating with them.
But what they wanted I could not give them."
And naruto said.
"Let me guess. They wanted to be reintegrated into society and superiority over the rest of the council. They wanted the other clans to bow before them and I'm more than likely going to be the one to kill them right???."
Hiruzen just chuckled and said.
"Once again your intelligence and perceptiveness exceed your reputation. Yes. I'm afraid I can't have Itachi Uchiha do it. his loyalties lie with the leaf village but his blood ties are still to the Uchiha clan. It would raise too much suspicion with the rest of the village. No. It's better if you did it and because you are ANBU nobody would ever be able to link it back to you. Since you have no clan... currently that is. The raikage's informed me that you have half a map of the land of whirlpools. I have the other half. Do this and I will let you set out to find the uzumaki clan members still remaining."
And naruto said.
"Am I supposed to leave any other uchiha clan members alive???. Or am I exterminating them all at once???."
And Hiruzen said.
"Leave at least three uchiha alive kill the rest and spare the children and elderly."
And naruto said.
"As you wish.. Lord Hokage.
I'll have it done by the end of the night."
And Hiruzen said.
"Very good. Here's the other half of the map you have. Your to leave the village as soon as you complete your mission. Once you are gone I will inform you when it's safe to return. Until then stay outside of the village and I shall send you missions with my monkey summons. Google luck. Kii raiton kitsune."
(Meanwhile. at the Uchiha clan compound.)
Itachi was begging his father to call off their foolish rebellion against the village.
Since Itachi knew that the hokage would trust someone not of any existing clan in konoha he knew it was only a matter of time before kii raiton kitsune storms the compound with his yellow lightning jutsu. Itachi then said.
"Father please. I'm begging you to reconsider the coup de tas. Kii raiton kitsune isn't any ordinary ANBU BLACK OPS member."
And Itachi's mother Mikoto uchiha asked.
"Your always speaking so highly of this person Itachi.
But you never tell us who this kii raiton kitsune is.
Who is the kii raiton kitsune???."
Itachi knew this was coming.
Hell. He could already sense the kii raiton kitsune approaching fast. So he decided to go over to his mother and whispered in her ear.
"Naruto uzumaki namikaze.
He's the kii raiton kitsune.
And he doesn't miss his target... ever. We have at least ten minutes left fifteen minutes at most. To surrender before he Burns our clan to the ground. All of the Uchiha clan."
Mikoto uchiha then dropped the plate she had in her hands on the floor and froze in her tracks she looks at her husband and said.
"Fugaku.... weren't Kushina uzumaki and minato namikaze our teammates in the past???. And wasn't Kushina pregnant with minato's child before the kyuubi attacked???."
