Diner

As I walk into the diner I see the manager, Amy. She's a woman around her mid 20's with gray hair and reddish-pink eyes. She's around 5'7, a lot taller than me. "I am so sorry for being late I had a... Surprise visitor." I say as I imagine Dark laying on my couch eat all my food.

"It's alright hun I understand how stuff like that works" She said with a smile but then winked at me. "I-it is not like that! Christ I'm only 17 you know." "I know but with kids these days they're already getting boyfriends and what not." She said trying not to offend me...Didn't work. "Well I'm not like those other kids I want to focus on my studies and on work only!" I semi yelled.

"Now Crystal, the diner isn't open yet but you have to keep down your voice you know how I am with that." She looked stern and serious so I just nodded in reply. "Now that's a good girl now help me open up customers will be coming here soon. And by the way you look so adorable with your new uniform! I'm glad I made the decision to renew this place into a sort of cute animal diner." Amy said excitedly.

"I know but this uniform is embarrassing, did it really have to be a maids outfit? And do I also have to put on these ears and tail? I mean I got enough attention with the old uniform.." I really didn't like the uniform the work was fine, I just don't want to bring more attention to myself as it is.

I headed towards the door and unlocked the door, and semi opened the windows. "When is Jason and Matt going to come to work? Also where's Eve and her cute little cat Rose? Weren't they supposed to come in today?" I say as I head back to get the "Welcome!" sign.

"They'll be here soon enough and Eve is taking her cat to the vet, Rose is gonna have kittens." She said with a little hop and started making more coffee. I started walking towards the counter and I got a pencil a little note pad and then started putting cups on some of the trays.

"Oh, really? I hope she gives me one. It would be nice having someone around the house to finally keep me company." I leave the trays on the counter then I hear the little door bell chime.

Welp time for work.

I head towards the door and see Jason and Matt walk in with a few of our male customers behind them. "Welcome back! Where would you like to sit today, master?" Yes I have to say master at the end, it's gross.

"Same as usual Crystal, thanks. You look cute in that new uniform of yours." The young man smiled at me then winked. I blushed slightly in response. This young man's name is Ethan he's a usual costumer here. He also goes to the same collage as me.

I show him to his usual table near the window at the end of the diner. "I'll come back soon to get your order alright?" I say smiling at Ethan. "Yeah alright, don't take to long~" That sent shivers down my spine and I started to walk away slowly.

I started breathing a little heavily but then it subsided. "Welcome back master! Where would you like to sit today?" I say to the next customer he seemed oddly familiar but he wasn't one of our usual customers. "Uhm yes I would like to sit at the counter if that's okay?"

"Uhm yes right over... there" I said pointing towards an empty seat near where I am. I need to keep new customers by me, that's what Amy told me at least.. "Alright thank you." The boy was in a grey hoodie with green stripes and regular jeans and hightop converse. I saw Eve finally coming in and Rose following close behind. And a hoard of her and also some of my manga and anime friends.

Today is gonna be a long day...
