when your eyes light up the night sky,
like jack-o-lanterns,
cut into slits
and morphed ugly and wicked,
a cruel wink of a smile ghosting your lips,i never know how to feel,
when you whisper words to me,
that feel like a daze
too good to be true
- a fairytale dream -
while knowing the real you,the one that escapes
and crawls up from the depths
up and out of your mind, would never believe to love me
the way you claim to.i guess i'll never really begin to see,
how you claim to need me,
when all of your actions,
are like nightmares to me,
haunted dreams of gholish masquerades,
and a glinting knife in dark shadows.
