Hiccups POV•
The wolf walked up to me I was scared but I had nowhere else to go "just kill me now get done with it" I said closing my eyes all the wolf did was walk closer to me and lick my face "hey hey stop it I surrender stop!" I laughed the wolf wagged his tail and sat down. I looked at his leg "looks like you need help boy" he stuck out his tongue like he was saying 'no nope never' I laughed as I saw he was missing three teeth "Toothless hu?" I asked as he picked up his head the heat was burning my neck and it didn't help with the headache or the blood "c'mon let's see if there's a camp near by" I said trying to get up Toothless helped "thanks" I mumbled we walked well I hobbled for a good two miles before spotting the camp my dad was in "help" I tried to yell but my throat became sore and I became weak but luckily one of the solders noticed me and ran to me. before he ever made it to me I collapsed and Toothless tried to help me up but no use.
I woke up in a wooden bed with Toothless lying on the edge one of the solders walked in "good to see you awake finally" "finally? What do you mean?" i asked a little scared but then I reconise r the solder he was my best friend who helped me read and write when mum was busy "Hiccup you where out for five hours. I don't blame you, you lost a lot of blood" I nodded "if it wasn't for that dog of yours you would have been dead" he said I chuckled a bit but it hurt my ribs "he's a wolf Cody a wolf. and why does my tips hurt so much?" I said holding my ribs "that fall you took broke two rips, and really are you sure he's a wo- never mind I see it now" I chuckled and so did he "are you hungry?" "No" "are you sure" "yes I'm sure I'm not hungry" "then get some rest" and with that he left the tent. "thanks bud for saving me" I mumbled as he came to lay bs use me I put my head on his chest and fell asleep wondering why did he save me?
